Has anyone noticed much quieter lift lines this year?

Title says it all. I’ve noticed much quieter lift lines and i think it’s from mask wearing. I also could be delusional. Anyone else notice that? Even caught a nice EC pow day and a lot less chatter and hooting and hollering.
 
People are nervous about getting bird dogged in lift lines for having their balaclavas down for a split second.. I have experienced this first hand. The stoke will return, though. I have faith haha
 
Yea for sure I get it! It took me a few laps to figure out to pop it back on. Hasn’t been an issue for me. I’m gonna try the STE mask next time see how that works. But yea bring back the stoke!! Hahah
 
I can't see anything which to hoot or holler about through my fogged up goggles! I'm not sure how people ride with face masks on during relatively warm weather all the time.
 
Uggh how can anyone complain? It’s the right thing to do and not that big of a deal

Whistler has had a couple of interesting days so far, although it mainly seems creekside is where you go if you're a masochist.
 
has anyone else noticed people going fucking HAM already this year? every clip on insta is people going straight psycho on the early season parks, i think i've seen about 15 flips off of rails

i guess people are feeling cooped up after this weird year!

can concur for this, also have seen more acls go just from the 2 months of this season than the entirety of last season lmao.
 
Ive never seen a longer lift line at alta than at collins last weekend, and they’ve pretty much got the gustapo out there checking for face coverings
 
Having had my season already finish in Nz i can confirm they were most definitely longer than usual because everyone that goes away internationally just went skiing this year
 
I wish this was the case :/ at my resort the other day the main lot, second lot, and backup lot was 100% full. People who got up a little later (9-11) had to turn around.

watched a homie try to huck a rode 7 off of a super sketchy snow whale booter this weekend. like IMO this jump was barely good to go for 360s or maybe a backy

That's awesome, flips on sketchy whale cut out jumps are sick. I always wish they'd leave em up sometimes
