Has anyone living in Canada got there LDC yet?

i got mine and im in the us (check my thread for pics)

canada is suppost to come this week (Possibly tomarrow?)
 
All of the Canada pre-orders got shipped last Friday. The expected arrivals were all between this Thurs and next Monday, should be there soon!
 
Did you have to pay any fees in order to receive your package from the deliver agent? I ordered the Redux Pants, and I asked upon ordering I specifically asked if there were any fees that I would have to pay when receiving the package and I was told that there were not. When I made my pre-order I paid $178 CAD for the pants, and $26 CAD, which comes out to $205 CAD. So I got home from work today, to find a UPS shipping invoice, saying that I was to pay $120 CAD in order to recieve my package, and that I would have to come pick it up from there depot. So in total I am paying $325 CAD for pants that I thought were $205 CAD. I've ordered alot of products from the states, recently Abstract Mall and Level 1 and have never run into this problem. I email LDC, and I better get some solution, because I was misimformed and I can't afford $325 snowpants.
 
holy shit i just got home the jacket is dope but i had to pay a 90 $ import charge on a 250 dollar jacket. now im in debt to my parents for 90 bucks which blows chunks they shouldnt be able to charge you that without a warning
 
Exactly, they should either A) Included that on there original shipping cost or B) List it on the site that fees will be added if its shipped to Canada. I've ordered alot of products from the states and it was delivered right to my door, with no hidden fees.
 
We are trying to work this issue out with UPS but it is largely out of our control. Some people have paid ridiculous costs for customs fees while others have paid little or nothing at all with seemingly no correlation between the two instances. We have shipping numerous packages to internationally with UPS and never encountered fees to this extent. We are doing everything we can to find and fix the issue with shipping.

It is your government that charges the ridiculous import fees on commercial goods sometimes. Not LDC. They don't make an extra penny off you.
 
Taxes only apply when the object you are importing does not come from the usa or mexico. This dosen't explain the tax difference the two people that received their jackets.
 
lethal descent i am fucking pissed. i had to pay 180$ in fee's to get it over the border. i have never had to pay this much in brokerage fees EVER. even when i bought ski's it was no more than 60$, i buy alot of stuff from the united states and almost never get charged anything. sure this isnt completly your fault but like wtf? i actually would have ordered a saga suit or any other suit on the market if i didnt have to pay that fee, its bullshit. i like your company, but the total for ordering it for canada was about 720$! wtf! this suit is deffinately not worth that much money. i really dont want to have to return it but it looks like thats the way its going to have to be cause my mom is rattled over how much it costs...it is a nice suit though.
 
returning it is not gonna get those customs fees back. those are gonna go to paying for your excessive government.
 
WOW. Same for me. I'm gonna have to pay 193 $$$$$ in fees. THIS IS INSANE. This is a huge mistake from lethal descent because first they didn't mention those hidden fees and they confirmed to CRENSON by e-mail that there would be no extra to pay. We are now all stock in the same position because we can't afford the jacket anymore and we can't send it back because we still have to pay the UPS hidden fees. I hope lethal descent will do there part and either make an arrangement with ups or cover up at least of the hidden cost. This probably put them in a really bad position as much as we do but as a company they have to respect there promise.
 
LDC is now the old SAGA. Hahaha.
But seriously, I feel for all of you. That is terrible to have to pay extraordinary fees.
 
WTF. Can't we ever have a serious conversation on a forum without having any stupid posts? This really is immature, we are trying to find a solution to a problem that concerns a lot of people and we don't need that kind of comments!

Its not our gouvernment its UPS. Our gouvernment only get like 15% of the total price. this is the import fees
 
My problem for the redux suit... I know the price in canada was expencive..but when I open the box with my suit I was really confuse.. I comande all black and white suit.. And the suit was brown? I'm really hungry about that's stuff.. seriously I paid with the extra about 700$ for a BLACK suit.........
