Has anyone here every broken thier humerus?

cracked it.. very top, right in my shoulder. i was out for the season. i couldn't even move my arm without getting severe pain for at least a month, and then a couple months of physio to help regain my range of motion and strengthen damaged tissue. 2 years later, it still isn't the same.

Broke mine on a table at mammoth last may. 3-4 months until I had full range of motion, and then another three until i could start lifting weights. Its a shitty injury, but I was lucky cause mine was right in the middle. I hear its worse if its up near the shoulder or down near the elbow.

Humerus is a big deal. It produces alot of red blood cells. So if that got damaged your RBC count could be down so if you live in the mountains it could be a little strain on your oxygen intake.

Word to motha.

check my pictures ive got my xrays of 12 screws 2 plates on here and the 21 staples that covered it, compounded the humerus and shattered the elbow, i did it oct 10 and was ookish to ride in l8 novemeber, don't feel it skiing, definetly biking

I've broken my last season, then rebroke it 2 months later, I hate shitty doctors. It's one of the worse injuries you can do to your arm. Takes over a year to get fully healed, its not really goign to affect your ski, but I wasn't suppose to be at the hill this winter, but I still did. Just don't land on it.

last season i spiral fractured it, i got a metal plate in it now, i was trying my first 3's and i dont even know what happened, i just landed on my arm and it felt really wierd during the first few seconds, then it started to fucking hurt like a bitch, the only things it affected is my trip to high north being cancelled and now i get scared more often while skiing

nomensteven your a basterd child...i was preparing like the same joke when i read the title
