Has anyone had their meniscus removed?

On tear number four of my meniscus. Likely going to have my meniscus removed. Wondering if anyone has had this done and what skiing has been like since.
 
I've had mine repaired. Probably got like 15-20% taken out and I was able to ski again within 2 months.
 
Yeah, I have had three surgeries on the same meniscus in the last 2ish years. The last was to reattach it after it completely ripped off. I believe this one will be to remove it entirely. I am just trying to get an idea of the pain level with skiing on that.

Dude! That's sad. I wish you the best. You may need a premature TKR. They only last so long, so they don't like to do that for young people. Maybe time for you to just cruise groomers. No shame in that.
