Has anyone gotten into this?

well no, i like to cry and hide indoors during off-season months, but i know that people are into having lives during the summer here. just a few.

expensive too if u dont have a cable park near u its really expensive and then u need a boat haha

way harder than regular skiing. its like skiing pow the whole time but harder. i found wakeboarding to be more comfortable

well I live on a lake, so I already have a boat. and I guess if it's a lot harder than wakeboarding, it's not worth trying. ha

anyone whos down to progress the sport, go for it. so sick, no matter the medium. just don't kill the youngins.

yea i saw those before they look super fun but there pretty expensive. i will just have to stick with my wal-mart wakeboard for now

Well I mean like a lot of common plants in lakes/rivers. So I can go in the water if its really cold and the plant level is low.

i'm picking up a pair of wake skis for this summer actually. i don't care how hard it is or isn't. i live near two lakes and have a few friends with wave runners and boats so it's gonna be legit

I've got a pair of HO wake skis. They're shorter (145s?) than the sterio skis (155s?) and they've got a lot more rocker, so they're kinda squirrelly if you aren't a solid water skier, but they're fun as fuck. I ride em several times a week from april - oct/nov. (Hoping to get out tomorrow for the first time this year.)
My homie has a pair of the sterios and he loves them. He's a lot bigger dude (210 vs 150), so they're a lot more stable for him. I've heard several other people voice the same opinion.
But yeah, at any rate, wake skis are dope. Buy some. Ride as often as you can.

What no dubs no after bang... not a sport for me! just kidding... looks cool, but so hard i am sure! not to mention expensive

i scored a dope deal on my HOs - picked em up brand new with bindings off of ebay for $350ish. i think my buddy dropped about $600 on his stereos with bindings.
so they aren't really too outrageously expensive. they're a hell of a lot cheaper than normal jump skis which can run $1,600 ish these days.
