Has anyone ever gotten the stand up to immediately drunk feeling before?

i was just having a few (many) drinks with some homies at the pub and i wasnt feeling drunk at all. maybe a little tipsy but nothing serious. then i stood up and took a step and i was like, whoooaaaaaaa duuuuudddeeeee! it was as if all the alcohol hit me at once.

has this ever happened to anyone? or am i just weird?
 
happens everytime i drink sitting down, ill have a few to many because im not really feeling anything and then i stand up..
 
come to think of it, this has happened to me at parties at my house a few times when drinking sitting in the hot tub. Idaho cold + quick stand up = fall over and look like a dumbass in front of your lady and friends.
 
Oh man that has destruction written all over it.

But I definitely have had the feeling, that's why I stand while holding onto something. It's a pretty intense headrush.
 
wow, i meant to say that too my friend who was just messaging me ahah clicked the wrong box, but what i was gonna say was hottubs and dinking will fuck you up
 
ok guys, the reason this happens, is because the blood rushes through the body, and causes disorientation, or a "drunk" feeling...with alchol added in, its just a lot more severe and what not...
 
That happens to me a lot but I don't even have to have much. I can usiually take two steps before it happens though.
 
yes it has. the first time it happened, i was drinking with my brother, and we happened to be drinking keystone light. ever since then, this phenomenon is referred to as the "keystone effect"
 
YES!drinking at my cottage with a few friends, i wasnt feeling shit, we were sitting at stools at our bar so i stand up to get something.. then for 30 seconds im walking around.. then suddenly im on top of a table.. then taking my clothes off and jumping in the lake, then rolling in a field, then in bed the next morning.shits fucked.
