at a cork 3, you are horizontal at 180. And youre looking down to the ground.

at a cork 1, you need to get horizontal at 90 and looking to the side.

But i dont think it would look nice.

i was talking about how he kind of throws his skis out to the side (kind of like how in motorcross they tweak the bike out flat to the ground), not really an actual cork but sort of just a no-grab tweak i guess

oh ok so this is one of those threads where we spend hours arguing over what a trick is called etc etc...

A corked 180 will never ever compare to a corked 360 for two reasons: you can't go inverted in a corked one, and it doesnt have a fluid movement to add style. BUT, a corked 180 can be corked quite a bit by leaning back like your lieing down, and swigning your legs around, then droping at 180.. if that made sense. that's the only way i see it possible, other then that you have to either lift your legs way up, or land backseat.

I too do not believe in a corked 180. I have not yet seen Zachs video, as it may be as close as its gonna come, but a real one is virtually impossible. And just because you tilt your head down, doesnt mean its corked, incidently, what many consider corked 3s. Anyway, it really is simple physics. If you start going truely corked in only 180 degrees, there is no reaction to get you back straight. Unless of course you are going over a jump/drop so massive and you use wind resistance to right yourself. Just like doing a backflip to frontflip. Only skydivers can do that.
