Has anyone crack an FT boot shell?

Mine cracked a few weeks back not sure if it is serious or not. Will put pic later but I'm on mobile.

Also the top buckle broke off is this going to be a problem?

I haven't cracked a FT shell but I have cracked a FT tongue and 3 different Riachle shells. Granted, the plastic on the Riachles was ~2 decades old.

You're probably going to want to replace the buckle. It's cheap and sometimes a shop or FT will even give you a replacement for free.

I did a few seasons ago, they were pretty bad, and had seen many seasons.

I basically duct taped my boot every time i went skiing to keep it together..

Never ski a cracked boot.

If you are the original owner, take it into the shop you bought them from and see if they are still under warranty.

If you are not the original owner, warranty will not be possible and the boot is toast. You will need to buy a new one.

Ive cracked the old red hot doggers and a set of lange XTs. Both times I got brand new boots even tho the boots were over 2 seasons, 200+ days old. Things like that shouldnt happen on a boot that fresh and a manufacturer know it.
