rode 06/07 Lizzies for most of the season in whistler. I am like 5'11" and 150lbs. Takes a couple of runs to get used to the width. But once you do you can carve them in even very short radius turns which you wouldnt think would be possible with a 110mm waist. Pretty sweet off the jumps (i dont really do many rails). Its like having a parachute beneath your feet, dont want to get too far forward on them though cos of the length. I really liked their performance in the trees (tight). On really steep snot like snow I'd probably want the Bacons but they are ok. A little bit of a handful in chopped up or crud too.
I orignally mounted mine at recommended but didnt think they were too lively moved them forward +2cm and prefer them there. But I still think this is behind centre which is weird cos recommended is supposed to be -2cm so in theory mine should now be centre but Im sure they are probably another cm or 2 behind.
As for durability the base has held up really well though Id advise to keep them really well waxed as they are very slow on the cat tracks. Topsheet gets pretty chipped up but so does any sidewall construction ski. No signs of any delam after 50 days on them.
Bottom line: sick fun soft skis, great in the trees, park groomers and boot deep snow. Any steeper and deeper and Id want bacons, but I am really quite tall for a 172cm ski.
