Has anyone been cliff jumping with a Go Pro?

Has anyone ever attempted it?My friends and I were thinking of taking it but i can almost envisage the impact of hitting the water would make it fly off.

it can be done with the camera, usually it works fine, but there is a story of a kid on here that got furious @ his camera because its memory card dislodged upon impact and thus didn't capture his"epic" jump....but the camera was still sealed off and working, so in the end, it held up....
try it, i'd say!

Voleurz did it in outdoor graduation. You could try it off small jumps first and see how it holds up, then step it up to bigger ones

Thanks guys, i'll try it out soon!Just having the thought that i'd either lose it in the lake its not tight enough or the casing will come off due to impact

it wasnt big, but i used mine at a 30ish foot cliff and it held up fine. i just held the thing in my hand, didn't use the chest mount or a helmet or anything and it worked ok.

attach something that floats!, a friend of mine dropped his off a boat, luckily it was clear water and we had a diving mask to retrieve it ....
