Has any one used POC helmets before?

I am thinking of getting one this year and want to know if anyone has personal experience with them

ones I am intrested in are the Receptor, and the Synapsis XP.

Important questions are how are weight, durability and air flow.

I have not used either of those particular models, but i thought i could still give some positive feedback on the brand. I race in the Skull X helmet, and it is by far the best helmet i have ever used. Not really great for warm days or park, but the standard of fit and safety is incredible, and i bet that POC follows that in all their helmets. So no feedback on those two, but probably worth the money a few times over if you choose a POC.

my sister has a poc race helmet, its super light, and comfortable as hell. only downside ishow expensive they are.

Yes i have used the poc receptor and it is a really good helmet but it is not that light for a more freestyle oriented helmet but it will definatly protect you they also have the receptor bug wich i think is the lighter one

ya price is not really an issue. I just want to know what peoples thoughts were on them, so far it seems like a good helmet to go with.

if moneys not an issue, than i would def. go poc, every body that owns one loves it( all racers) but im sure they have all the same technology and theyre helmets are supposed to be better at absorbing shocks when hit, they break apart to disperse the impact. id get on but ive got no money haha.

If money was really not an issue I would get a sweet helmet, but money is still that much of an issue. Seriusly, they have a US team but don't distribute over here.

The receptor is a sweet helmet. I use the receptor bug. The helmets double shell system is amazing, it allows for warmth and coolness with the easy removal of on liner type thing on the inside. Have you seen one?Their weight is nice, it doesn't inhibit me at all. I feel like the fit is perfect too, this is obviously personal, but from using Giro, Smith, Bern and R.E.D helmets before this helmet felt the nicest on my head. The have a clean look too, which i like. But the main reason i bought mine was because of their safety records/standards and general quality that the company seems to ooze.
On another note, if you want a sweet helmet then i can bring one back from England with me on the 1st January and ship from the USA if you were interested. I have no intention to scam you as i live in Summit County now and will more than likely be tracked down if I were to pull anything.
If not, buy POC.

i had the synapsis last year and the receptor this year, shits awesome, synapsis, get it a lil bigger than u think u need if ur gonna wear a hat under it, i had a medium last year and it was good w/o a hat under it. for the receptor it has alot of padding so i got a small and ripped that shit out and wear a hat under it, exact same size and steeze as a protec but this will actually pro-tect your head

There pretty gay. Everyone who wears one is a fag. Every time i see one its just not ever worth wearing. Just expressing my FEELING about these gay helmets. Do i remind you of anyone yet? Maybe yourself?
