Has any one ever noticed this crazy thing

in shanghai every single time someone lands or hits a feature it is perfectly lined up with the beat from the song. it happens every time.

yeah i would have thought that was pretty standard - thats why you hear a lot of hip hop in the films coz they got heaps of mad beats to time with landings and stuff..

you just watch the sound levels as you scroll through the footage and can adjust it so that key frames line up with beats. it's really easy.

sorry by saying key frames what I meant was particular frames. I was just too lazy to type such a long word out dude.

but yes, I know how to edit on FCP and edit in time with beats, I'm just not down with all the 'lingo' yet.

have you only seen one sports movie?

and you havent noticed that anything with a soundtrack is edited to the music?

omg.

its really not that hard, takes a long time and alot of finesse, but by altering speed of clips, adding in lifestyle shots and stuff you can get everything to click together.

and berman uses no slow motion in the movie, so just imagine how hard it is to match every trick like that. it must take forever

its because berman is an editing god and level 1 spends more time editing then anyone else

plus there movies are always good

i think its something callled hmm good editing....how many ski movies have u watched its done in everyone

that takes so much time, I did that with a 3 minute bike video and it took over 2 hrs to get it right, props to shanghai's editors

thats insane.

i heard the make the riders ride with little earbuds, and they pipe in the soundtrack and make them stomp tricks on beat.

so not only does your sig lead in all corny to your website, but the site has no content whatsoever, sweet.

^in the shanghai six trailor they change the song. its the part when vanular does that black urban rail with all the little drops on it. in the real song this sound i repeated 4 times but in hte trailor it is 5. i hate that part everytime i watch it
