its webll written and immersive. its easy to get into and hard to get out of. Everyone who I've ever met who disliked harry potter disliked it because they werent open to a fantasy book or just something that got as big as harry did. I urge you to read the books, slave through them if you must, just so you can know that you truly dislike the BOOKS, nothing else

this is an entirely subjective opinion, but I have read all the books numerous times and find an incredible amount of foreshadowing and detail in even the first books. I'm intrigued as to why you think its not well written

I was quite let down by this movie. The director totally missed the whole point of the final book. It was about the relationships of the three main characters. It was about how Voldemort was affecting the outside world and Hogwarts. I feel extremely let down by the way many things were added to the main character plot-line, and how too many things were forgotten from the entire story

You probably can't relate like I can relate. Harry Potter is to me what HP Lovecraft and JRR Tolkein was to the last generation(DOn't get me wrong I love those books and realize they are much more of an accomplishment than Harry Potter.) When I was 4 years old I read the first book when it came out and just got fucking addicted(My mom has a PhD in English and was a English professor for 15 years, she got me reading at age 2 so don't be like "oh you're bullshitting no fucker can read harry potter at age 4.") It's just something I've always know throughout my 16 years of existence. Yeah they aren't the best books but I love them all the same.
