And lizziebeth, yes, yes actually I did figure that out all by myself. You should take a look around and see how many adults, parents, and teenagers are reading the Harry Potter stories. I think you will be suprised. I know just as many people older than myself who have read them as I do little people.
And another interesting fact about LOTR. It was actually aimed at children when Tolkien began writing it. It was aimed at 13 year olds + (funny how the standard of reading in people today has dropped so much). It was originally to be a childrens story but he adapted it to create an adults book. He wrote them because he thought that England didn't have enough history (for some reason) and so he set about creating a history for Britain. Right down to languages, places, people and script. Really quite a remarkable product and mind. I don't think anything can ever compare to LOTR, it's simply fantastic, a lifetime of work.
