Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows: Part 2

i have read every book multiple times, im a huge harry potter fan. but fuck.those.fucking.movies. the first 2 were good, and its been a downhill slide since. when i saw the 6th i actually wanted to punch a small child it was so fucking bad. THEY DIDNT EVEN SHOW THE FIGHT IN HOGWARTS

climax of the book is not important i guess

i don't think it's been a downhill slide but i will agree with you that the 6th was by far the worst. They strayed from the book way too much on that one

HOLY DICK SHIT. FASHIONING MY WAND WHILE LISTENING TO WU-TANG.

my whole get up is already ironed..NBD

probably going to cry... ive been obsessed since grade 2. almost cried watching the trailer a few minutes ago.

plus in the new trailers it shows voldemort and harry falling down of a bridge while fighting? they better not change too much

Currently crafting this into a shirt..

wrong fight buddy, there was a huge fight after dumbledore was killed in the 6th book.

and duh they'll have the epic battle in this one

just got back, it was a pretty good film I must say. Didn't read the last book though so I can't complain about it being true to the story or not.

i just got into a legitimate fight with my GF about it. she says no, i say yes, obviously

Just got back from it. It was alright. It was like an hour and fifty minutes long, which is short for potter films. Not unbelievable, but worth seeing.

the only reason i think its no is because snape kept saying - he is arrogant like his father, implying he isnt the father

yah but james died before he could raise harry therefore the only way he could be like james was through genes right?

no. hes not. He was in love with lilly so much and when they were younger (at the water) they touched hands and their patroneses developed. as the same doe. -__-

I had to sit fucking first row too....god dammit my neck is sore.

Anyway, I thought it was pretty good. I didn't read the books either so I have no idea if it was the same but it was for sure worth seeing.

but he had to have picked up on his mannorisms as an infant. And if he had all these people comparing him to his father and making him believe that James was his father it starts to make sense

What a great night. Dressed up with a bunch of friends and had a blast. As a movie I thought it was good, obviously could never touch the books but it was exciting and I really enjoyed it. It's the end of an era though, and it was quite sad walking out of the theater. On that note, time for bed.

BABE

But yeah, I enjoyed the movie A LOT even though I barely follow the story (aside from watching the movies a they come out). It was a perfect ending, also it was interesting to hear the parts that were not included in the movie (Neville became headmaster of Hogwarts, Harry gave the goblin the fake sword ect.) because my sister had been obsessed with the books, she brought me to the premiere, wands/chop sticks included. Quite a few people dressed up actually, there was a massive line but got there early so we had good seats (only had to sit there for 2 hours though :S)

Every thing i wanted and more from the last movie. Possibly my favorite. Dethroning the first movie.
and now... 19 years later, let the new books come!

Goodbye childhood....It was great to watch it on movie form, but damn if you have never read the book you miss so many of the details that make it so much better.

Damn. I'm quite depressed at the moment actually. The movie was fucking awesome I just can't believe it's over. But, yes they did leave out so much information in this one. Also... the epilogue was unnecessary, even in the book it was.

Ok I'm done ranting. Goodnight.

The book was a million times better. I'm pissed, they strayed from the book so much and didn't do it justice at all. The ending kind of sucked actually. I mean, as a movie it was good, but they left out all of what I was expecting to be awesome...

some bitch in the front row cried really loudly for like 50% of the movie. but other than that it was really rad.

can anyone shed light on harry and ol'e voldie falling off the bridge without ruining the movie? Was it just in one of their heads?
