Harry Potter 6...What did everyone think??

you can't leave out the wedding for the 7th movie, everyone sees that evil sign thing, i forget whats its called, and theres the fight with the new minister. it really is such an important scene

it didn't follow the books plot perfectly
but however it was an enjoyable movie
plus emma watson is a babe

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you haven't read the book...

And btw, Snape is not a bad guy...if you read the books you would know.

i went to the movie RIPPED and can highly advise against doing it. when the zombie grabbed harrys hand i flipped a bitch and kicked someone in the back of the head.

no the part where harry teleports with dumbledoore and everything on the screen goes crazy. i was going nuts when i saw that and i was baked off my ass.

the movie was generally bad overall. they left out a lot of sick parts and this book had the potential of being the best harry potter movie ever. and its by far the worst out of all of them i think.

I thought it was pretty good overall, the best one yet without a doubt. I've read all the books an embarrassing number of times over the years and I thought that the liberties they took worked pretty well in translating such a long story to a two hour film.

it sucked!! sorry to tell you, but I am not a big fan of the movies yet I loved the one before this. If you remove your bias towards the films and the books, its realy nothing interesting. The last one was fucking epic with good fight scenes, clever jokes and situations... all this one had was a good plot which is completely owed to the books.

the biggest fight in the movie is harry telling snape that hes a coward and trying to get him to fight him and so basicaly snape tells him to fuck off and walks away... impressive!

Compared to the last movie I found myself laughing a lot less at the clever things I used to laugh at from the other movies. This one had a lot of time to be clever, whitty and funny since, lets face it, nothing realy happens in it.

I just think that they could have condensed this movie a whole lot more and they would have had a good movie. Instead they made one big movie which just runs on pointlessly at most times and this gives us the impression that nothing happened.

i actually thought this one was the funniest.

but they say the cut the fight to avoid repetition? that would be like cutting out helms deep from LOTR because there is going to the a bigger battle in the third.

what did make sense though to me, they added the burrow fight scene because the middle of the movie was undeniably boring as fuck so they added that and cut the other one...still though...weak fight scenes.

i have a feeling that the next two installments are going to be pretty badass though so whatever.

yah if we judge it on the book for sure its going to be the tits, but do they realy need to make it into two movies? sounds to me like the want to milk the cash cow for all its worth!

i thought that at first too, but nah dude. trying to make it into one would just totally fuck it up beyond repair. its SUCH a long book, so much shit goes down in it they would have to cut at least 1/4 of all the big scenes. i borderline think they should have made the 6th into a two parter.

think about all the shit in 7

-all the wedding stuff

-the first attack in the pub

-waiting at grimuald place

-the ministry

-ron peacing for a while

-getting the sword

-going to the lovegoods

-getting captured and escaping

-being at bill and fleurs

-going to gringots

-hogsmeade/room of requirement

-getting the crown

-harry going to his death

-neville killing the snake

-the huge fucking battle and harry killing voldemort

-the flash forward

thats just shit i remember off the top of my head, no way could one movie do all that...but two could.

haha yahhh i went to it twice...once not high and the second time blazed to shit....fell asleep at the same fuckin time in the movie bothh time soo i never got to see part of it even though i went twice...fell asleep and missed all the goo quidditch shit hahaha fuck me

what a fucking ripoff, the movie sucked. swamp scene.......? No battle scene in Hogwarts and only 4 death eaters in the castle? no explanation of who or what Fenrir Greyback is, no Hagrid fighting death eaters with his umbrella? NO BATTLE???? I saw this movie just to see that battle scene, it was probably the best in the series. I should have known they would have totally bungled in by NOT SHOWING IT at all. I was a bit disappointed with the Department of Mysteries skirmish in OoTP, but I can forgive that because they actually included it. If I recall correctly, parts of the castle were destroyed in that battle, but in the movie, Lestrange just breaks the fucking windows in the Great Hall. I feel jipped. There were so many things wrong with this movie...it sickens me.

it was decent. for some reason i thought dumboldore didnt die. cause harry didnt seem like as sad as when sirius died.. but i dunno

they left out all of the sick action shots...i guess they wanted to make it alot more funny too. I laughed once or twice but then it started to get boring, espicially when the deatheater attack ron's house. sooo pointless >.>

so harry potter-ish.entertaining, but nothing overly special. hated the weird gollum bodies thoughthe next two better sum up the story well...

the way they made all the magic fights and shit looked so sick! other than that i was too high to comprehend what went on

so i just went and saw it again and tried to take off my gayboy harry potter pants and just watch it as a movie and not compare it so much to the books...its pretty sick, and like the book i mean it is just really a connector to deathly hallows.

this was the first legit movie out of the entire series i loved it. thought the acting, cinematography, errything was just a step up. they left out some cool parts of the book but the thing was already well over 2 hours soo....

anybody else get stoked on the trailer for sherlock holmes?
