hardshell vs softshell

Do you prefer a softshell jacket or a hardshell?

softshell hands down. i used nikwax wash-in waterproofing ive never gotten wet. i wear the sessions softshell hoodie jackets. cant seem to find any similiar pants though.

It all depends. For wet snow/rain, Hard shell for sure + layers. But on a cold day, waterproof soft shell takes the cake.

soft shell when its warmer out 30+ and hard shell when its colder less than 30
