Okay so I got the hard drive running low on memory pop up the other day... So I checked it out and saw that I had almost used all the memory up, I did a "Disk Cleanup" and I now have...

Capacity: 111 GB

Used Space: 108 GB

Free Space: 3.00 GB

I thought to my self WTF?! Then I checked folders in the Local Disk (C:) and found out the following...

WINDOWS - 3.77 GB

Program Files - 2.33 GB

Documents and Settings 24.2 GB

NVIDIA - 0 bytes

TEMP - 38.9 KB

That's only about 30 GB of my 111 GB hard drive!!!

Maybe I am making a noob error here or something, but I just don't know so help me out if you can. Thanks!

i don't see what your problem is...
you can never completely empty your harddisc if you stil want windows and the programfiles running....just get a 1TB external harddisc to store all your porn and you should be fine!

Don't try to fix it. Just know that you have 3gb left to store/install things.
On a different note, it looks like your programs file should be taking up more space, I would poke around there and see what's up.

oh, i tought that was after you cleaned your harddrive....sorry then....
and to reply on your original question: i have no idea.....

Try running a disk first aid utility. It sounds like there's an error on your hard drive that's causing you to misplace space. Also, run a disk cataloger to tell you what directories are taking up the most room. I bet your previous program missed something.

just delete system 32, it doesn't really do anything, and takes up a ton of space. i deleted it, and i'm a better person.

college next fall, i have a old broken 30gb ipod, that ive made into a large external hard drive, just go to my computer then added a folder, all my music files are on the ipod, so if it crashs....fml

yes. ccleaner is a very good program. there are others as well. it removes a lot of old setup files which are useless, and pretty much anything else you want.
