I got happy happy from helly hanson. I was pretty dissapointed really. Lifted was better. The highlights were eric pollard, Nicklaus Karlstrom and Hugo Harrison's high speed crashes. The Lowlights were the snowboarders, and the music. The Eric Pollard Documentary was also cool.

I thought a major highlight was Sarah's segment. I'm pretty stoked on the movie myself.

i don't know what you guys have been smoking but i thought it was pretty good. lifted didn't impress me at all but this one is decent, hugo's crashes were incredible, sarah burke's seg was decent and the snowboarders did a half decent job too!

besides, you didn't pay shit for it! not even shipping so don't complain!

who is the skiier that is a few seg after pollard...it starts off as a snowboard seg but turns into a ski one after a few shots. whoever that was killed it

wow you guys need to work on your acceptance of things, and its free so this should not even be a post. all people like different music and different styles of editing for diffferent reasons so try to see those reasons rather than saying it sucked

The dvds are backordered. I think the chill music is tight. Thats what skiing could use more of. I'm tired of the same old ghetto rap and rock songs. I think you need to see the movie as skiing and art, not solely as just the newest tricks and shit. Personally, I think ostness did a sweet job and props to him for picking out chill music from like OM and Ubiquity records. I would have paid for this movie, but free will also work.

I'm excited, but I also only got the catalog, hopefully the DVD comes soon. Ostness is sweet, and his music is a pleasant switch up from the norm. The sixths from his film 'tee time' rule.

 
you can't argue with it being free. but the intro was super gay and a lot of the name intro's were pretty gay and unprofessional. other than that it was your typical smooth-ass ostness piece.

I liked lifted alot more, it just flowed so well, so nice and chill. But happy happy is pretty good too, lots longer which is nice.

 
i thought sarahs seg was awesome. and that nikklas hot swed guy... i havent seen a whole lot of him before!

i hate helly hanson and lifted sucked. i hate how they try and use that mellow elevator music for the whole movie

how can you saw ostness killed it? the clips are in no logical order whasoever. Sarah's sign thing that says open 24 hrs or whatever took way too long. It's edited very loosely and amaturish. ostness has no idea how to color correct. a lot of those shots are in redtape and they all look sooo much better because that movie was edited by a real editor, not some washed up has been.

 
yea... has anyone who just recieved the catalog actually gotten a second mailing with the DVD yet? Or are all of us who just got the catalog screwed?
