happy dayz v.s. rfa

RFA. Every year everyone seems to be doing stuff so much smoother and it shows in rfa once again. The camera angles in this movie are sick they really stepped that up like two notches. Another reason its so much better is because it wasn't all the usual faces you're use to from the poorboyz films. I mean you have some of the usual suspects like cr, vinnie, mike d, and a few more. It documented the people you heard of and were like shit i wanna see some more footage of them like Chrichton, Dumont, Abma, Olenick, and more. The music flowed real good too. I'd have to give RFA 4 outta 5 stars. Next year poorboyz needs to give Silva a section cause the shit that kid is doin is just on another level grind wise. I havent seen to many of his jumps but im sure he's equally as good in that aspect. Nice work once again poorboyz.

 
Filming wise RFA blew every other ski movie to date away, the follow cams were perfect, and the ones were they hit the jumps too, i love that angle. Editing, RFA blew everything away, 3 words, steele spence's segment. amazing, simply put. few things that pissed me off like super short segments for rad skiers (silva, mcmurray, rinfret...) but other segments were perfect. only problem is nothing stood out like past years. still sick and olenick for sure stepped up. though dumont's segment was good, i expeceted more

RFA has more character to it. I think the thing that Happy Dayz seemed to miss was a little character(painting a picture of the riders, but not through words). It seemed to tell more about each skier. Belanger with the empty pipe seggy was cool. Steel's segment had a lot of character. Plus there was more diggy and shit. Chrighton's intro was really cool. I liked that. Also shane and md's seggy broke up the format a little with some good pow, pillow drops, and whistler booters.

 
happy dayz had riding progression, but it just wasnt too creative it seem liked the riding was a higher level then propaganda but the creativity was at a much lower level

why fags? were waiting for it just as much as you are, Skogens segent is pritty short and not very noticable, and i don't think mike nick was ikn it was he? no im pritty sure he wasn't. I really like the flying Fox cam.

im waiting to watch the hole thing tonite but i watched the beginning and i would have to give it to happy dayz, casue i think it looks alot cooler when all the riders were together comming out of the car and such and not just scrolling across the screen as in rfa. lacked creativess but im sure its gona make up for it in the hole movie, ohh yea the 1242 trailor on the rfa dvd is so rad i think i pissed my pants

rfa owns happy dayz, like someone said, it has so much more character, plus amazing riding.

it reminds me of propaganda, now that movie had character

RFA had the worst follow cams......i've sersly seen better ones on this site..SOME not alot though...even the ones that weren't off the jump and following in the air were shakey i donno what happened but it wasn't up to its fullest potential

rfa was definately better...and surprising...the whole line team stepped it up, mike nick and skogen had sweet (yet short) segs, and also olenik's part was awesome. i liked the editing in belangers seg too...
