HAPPY CANADA DAY 2007!!!!

Yeah and I get to pay $5000 for an MRI image becuase I cant afford to pay $500 a month for health coverage as a post-cancer patient.

it all depends on who you know. if you don't have any connections with people in the health care system then you are shit out of luck. i got my MRI bumped up from 3 months wait to within 2 weeks because of connections. then i get the results 4 days later. networking is great, work on that.
 
so canadian healthcare is like the Mob, personally I like being the Customer at the hospital, not a great friend who comes in to visit when injured, When i broke my leg i was in an out of the hospital in 22 hours, I could only imagine how long it would have taken in a public healthcare system
 
plus pay for them in one shot. sure we have taxes but atleast we have enough time over years to pay for something.

 
Without disrespect to Canada Day, the Saint-Jean Baptiste (Quebec Day if you want) is waayyyyy better

you must have been lucky then my uncle who lives in ontario broke his ankle and wasnt told until 2 weeks after the xrays because they were simply so backed up... i cant even imagine if an important cat scan or whatever were to take that long and something goes undetected for an extra week which can be potentially fatal all because the system is so damn slow.
 
i don't see how you're drawing a mob parallel with my post. i guess people who are in business that have networking skills and know people can be compared to the mob by your logic.
 
for all the pepole who that are agruing about health care were better because were not 800 billion dollars in dept and dont have a dumb shit president we dont have gun crazy residents we dont have a war obsest goverment and we dont have as big as an obesity problem
 
Not really lol. If you call waiting in the emergency room for 4 hours succesfull and not letting fully trained doctors practice because they are from another country then yes Canada 's health care system is sooo succesful.

Atleast we have a healthcare system that actually works if we get shot by these "gun crazy residents".
