Haha, well did anyone ski Breckenridge today on Sunday Nov., 21st? Hanner Tall was there. If you skied there you know what I mean. I was a lot like that last year at the open also. Funny stuff. Anyone know what I mean?

I saw that kid out in Mammoth two days before the Orage Masters, swore it was THall, the kid was going off on the 80fter and had super steeze and then when I came back for the Orage Masters you could tell the difference for sure

it's really sad to see people who literally try to look EXACTLY like someone as opposed to emulating someone's style. it's like those elvis impersonators that take their jobs way too seriously.

there is nothing wrong with wanting to get the same article of clothing as someone or trying to incorporate someone's style of trick, but when you go unbelievably out of your way to try to look exactly like someone by dressing and acting in the exact same manner as them, you just look like a lost little retard with no sense of self that can only be happy when mistaken for a semi-famous athelete. people that do this need help.

its sad because the kid is trying to be so much like t hall, why cant people just have their own style, thats what makes a person cool, thats what gets them respect in my eyes, yes you ability has something to do with it, but overall, its how independent you are from everyone else, emulating another persons style isnt indavidual. be your own person and thats what its all about.

I think he's sick cause he sounds like a good skier. I don't really care about his style, that's his problem. Sure, I think it's pretty dumb to model yourself after somebody else. I wouldn't do it. But if someone else is doing it, why are you upset? It's not like his being unoriginal affects you.

Freeski1620, if you really think skiing is all about style, then you're more of a tool than this kid. You remind me of one of my friend's sisters who chose her skis on the basis of what matched her ski outfit. Sure style is cool, but its not the point of skiing. Skiing is about having fun and doing cool shit. And it sounds like this kid is doing both of those, so I give him props.

 
nah, my buddy knows him, i guess he goes to CU with us, he is pretty good, switch 1 to cork 3 on the hits, 270 switch up, switch out on the ski box, i dont get why you all are giving him a hard time, most of you dont know him or havent even seen him...

what makes you think he is trying to be tanner? maybe he has always been like that...its pretty gay on your part to come on here and totally trash on someone, step up and next time you see him on the hill call him out and see what happens then.

 
Because Tanner has one of the smoothest styles, so if he's his favorite skiier, why not immulate someone like that. Better than trying to look like Brad Holmes. I try to rock my own style, but lets face it, we all wanna ski like Tanner.

Tanner's one of the best in the business right now in my opinion. So what if this kid is good and is trying to emulate him. Could be worse, he could be hanging out in front of Halliburton, trying to be like Dick Cheney. Obviously T. Hall's sponsors are happy, he's selling gear and 'steez' to people that want to be like him. Besides, if the kid is looking, acting and trying to ski like Tanner he's way ahead of me... I suck and I'm uglier than sin.
