looking at getting a camera for more cinematic shots and zoom shots and unfortunately the hvx is out of my price range. looking at either the Sony HDR XR200 or the CX405 which one would you recommend/any more advice?

I understand how that is a very useful feature, but as a sangwich enjoyer, vx1000

If you spend a few hundred more you can get the FDR AX33, has paddle zoom and a viewfinder, and great in camera stabilization

After 5 mins of YouTube research I think the cx-405 footage looks better but I like the xr-200 zoom is nicer. Bcuz of the better picture (imo) and stills I’d go with the cx-405
