Not really a sport known to North America, but it's pretty big in Europe. My cousin posted this video on facebook. It gets pretty intense. It's a mix of basketball and soccer. They commentators are speaking Polish (SKRILLEX will understand it). It's Poland vs. Denmark.

 
back in highschool we used to have huge tournaments and shit, i'd move to europe and go pro if I could.
 
we used to play this in high school and kids go so fucked up. It got banned a few years after i graduated because kids broke some bomes, concussions, etc
 
its actually a less than cool sport for the most areas around here.

but i am pretty sure its fun as hell if you play yourself.
 
My dad won Finnish championships and was on the National team way back when.

I'm getting just a bit too tired of hearing those stories over and over again, but it sounds like a fun and demanding sport. For a long time it was considered a posh sport here, I don't know what the situation is now.
 
Here in the united states and when i attended Glens Falls high school we counted down the days for snow so we could shred handball in gym. my team was fucking nuts and everybody went ham
 
yeah, it's very popular in gym classes. Too bad no one takes it seriously. Not as fun that way.
 
Handball was def the best unit in gym class, and usually the longest cause no one wanted to stop. Wish there were some US leagues to play in.
 
my dad almost made the olympics for this. at the time he didnt have enough money because his ski bumming the past winter season though. /claim
 
I played this once or twice in middle school. It was actually so fun! I saw a kid wearing his handball jersey once, I'd be interested to see if there's a league near me.
 
gym class handball is the shit. always do spinning behind the back shots and jumping off the wall shots. wish there was a organized league
 
just out west you don't, over here in canada it's the most heated sport outside of dodgeball in high school gyms.
