Hand Signals

Have youve ever had it happen when your coming into a jump and your freinds decide that theyre gunna cheer you on b clapping theyre poles over theyre head and when you see it, it looks like someones inthe landing? Or even worse, them signalling someones in the landing when you think theyre cheering you on? Newscooler.com should come up with hand signals so noone else will have to miss the 60 footer because theyre freinds are assholes!

i think cheering you on and yelling dont go there is a parapaligic on the landing are two fairly different hand signals.

i disagree, theres been a million times in my experience when its been damn near impossible to decipher what my friends are telling me from down at the jump. i think even some standardized signals would be excellent

theres already signals...arms above the head in an o shape is open...and x is closed

An x means closed, anything else is go. It sucks when you come into the jump, then somone skis from the side and stands on the landing or on the lip. One of my buddies came within a foot of crushing some kid on a 30-40ft. stepdown and some dude made me do a corked 180 to death when he skied on the lip of a 40fter. Fucking groms, kill them all.
