Hey if any of you guys that still have snow got a halfpipe, try to do a handplant. It'd be sick if skiers could do that.

sorry to break the news to you buddy, but the handplant has been around for a looooong time. even old-school guys used to do handplants. People still do them.

i think that handplants are still pretty awesome, and the fact is, many ppl in the pipe still cant do em.

i've tried them and still can't figure them out, I fly over the lip and out of the pipe, would like some tips though

 
They are super tough. Some people cross their arms, like they use their uphill arm so they can twist around and do a 180, others don't. it looks really cool. the one on the cover of freeze, i forget who, with someone jumping over them....that was pretty cool.

Handplants are cool. How would you do them with poles in your hands though? They must be crazy hard to practise to do.

i saw a kid handplant off the lip of a jump. It was kinda cool. He didnt get totally inverted. It was a crappy jump that noone hit so it was okay that he was messing it up.
