Hand drag 3's

so i was fooling around on sat and went for my first hand drag 1 and it was a really cool feeling and i got them down (but not at really fast speeds yet) and i was wonderin how to go about doin drag 3's. i have seen vids of people who use two hands and shoot their legs out really high and i could picture myself doing that pretty well. or i could set normal drag harder. which one is easier/safer? or any tips on how i should go about doing it.

if you can see it, do it my man i think you got it. i personally don't like to do them on snow or off knuckles, i like to do them off jibs more because all you really need to do is get enough speed put your hands on the jib and look back at them and then all of a sudden you are back at 3 so maybe try it off a tire or propane tank jib set up sideways and if you are confused what im talking about just check out the edit in my profile its the first trick i do.

you could carve in just a bit and go faster. the drop time alone should let it go to 3 on its own. plus a tight body position will let ir spin faster

When ever I do them I feel like I whip the first 1 around fast stop a little while hand dragging I guess and then whip the second around. I use one hand but I think 2 would work better for 3.

doing it off a jump is called a lazy boy. Off a knuckle is a hand drag. thay are 2 different tricks.
hand drag you pop and get your feet off the ground then drag your hand to set a rotation or pull your feet back down.
lazy boy you stay on your feet and drag your hand off the take off. your hand is the last thing left on the jump. push off your hand like slamming a door to set the rotation.

start small because this trick will leave you on your side some times

how i learned this was:

do a handdrag 1. once you are in your handdrag position, throw your other hand dow to the snow, and swing your shoulders down 90 degrees so you are facing the snow. you are now in handdrag 3 position. now droag thos hands to bring your body down, suck up the knees (knees to chin, not heels to ass) and land.

a common proble people have is the do not pop hard enough, then once in handdrag 3 position, their tips drag. i find throwing my body harder into the spin helps this.

hope that helped

When i was learning them it always helped if i kept my head turned the way i was spinning. I would always look at the snow when i was at 180 and it would kind of stop my rotation
