ya so i thought that hancock was gonna be like the "funny super hero movie" with like a hero who was a misfit and didnt care about the city n stuff, but i saw a ad that made it look like the most intense movie ever so now i dont know what to think

either way, is anyone looking forward to it? thoughts on it?

i think itll be sick regardless..will smith always plays believable characters, (Pursuit of Happyness, I am Legend) and if your characters are realiztic and believable, it's hard to make a shitty movie.

very true...

like transformers, that movie ruled, cuz they made it believable.... it couldve been gay givin the wrong cast.

I also though it was going to be very funny and not so serious. I found it online and I got to watch a few days back, and it is an okay movie. Def not what I was expecting, but worth the watch nonetheless.

i heard they reshot some scenes cause they wanted a pg-13 rating when hes sitting on the bench and drinking the kid tells him that theres bad stuff and oriiginaly he hands the beer or wat ever to the kid and now he doesnt

Im hoping what he said is sarcasism

Transformers had some of the worst acting, but the story/plot was also terrible

oh Michael Bay...how your movies suck, and Pearl harbor could of been a great movie, not a sappy love story!!!! Come on man!!! Just checked him on imdb, he is a Producer for 3 remakes of classic, great, horror movies, The Birds, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th and he could possibly ruin all of them.

damnit

hahaha alright im done

They have teo different styles of trailers to attract different audiences. Basically it's a funny bad ass superhero action movie.

transformers are robots in disguise, there could be one in your driveway right now. If you knew it was there or if it was in fact a transformer, then it wouldn't be doing its job of disguising itself very well now would it?

shit hes doing the birds? fuck, why? why do these people feel the need to find an amazing movie, and no matter what, do a really lame remake? god

idk. shark tale was bad, MIBII was like meh, i dont think they should have done another, wild west was really weird and random, and i heard hitch was terrible so i never actually saw it, so i guess its not my place to saw how bad it is, i just heard it was terrible

hahah well no shit cars cat walk and talk you idiot... i thought it was a great movie and had good acting and made it seem like it could be real.... eventhough the thought of it is impossible, kinda like star wars

There wasn't really anyone who was that good in transformers. The movie as a whole was enjoyable, but the acting wasn't special at all.

BUT, I just got back from screening Hancock, and I thought it was pretty good. Not at all what you would expect. I liked WIll Smith in this more than any other movie, and the rest of the actors did a good job as well. The one criticism I had was it was really short for what they put in. There were about seven different plots it felt like, making it sort of hard to follow.(that may be because I was tired and I just got off a ten hour shift at 1 in the mourning...)

MIB 2 wasn't bad, just as good as the first, if not better. either way, he knows how to make movies that people will spend their hard-earned cash to see. he is currently hollywoods only true leading man.

all i know is they blocked off every street they could find in west hollywood for the premiere yesterday, and made my normally 30 minute commute home from work take almost two hours.
