Will a NE fitted cap stretch out over time? Is there any other way to stretch it. I'd rather not have to stretch it myself because it just barely needs to be.

the only way i have seen to make one bigger is make small cuts on bottom rim going slightly up the side.

you've gotta put in on your knee and pull, you'll hear cracking sounds which is the sizing thing inside snapping, it should fit somewhat bigger after that

Do they shrink naturally or do they have to be washed/exposed to something?

You have to put them in a blend of dishwasher soap and acetone. The dishwasher soap does most of the shrinking but the acetone is basically a catalyst.

Sounds like a good way to dissolve the dye out of the hat. I definitely would not put acetone on it.
