So, I filmed this really important interview, I had a LAV on the person being interviewed hooked up to an H4N, well, the people I was working with fucked up, and now I don't have those audio files.

So basically I'm stuck with my in camera audio...

I have a constance low hum, and a bunch of ambient noise... Anyone know how I can somehow clean this up so that it doesn't sound as much like ass as it does now?

Thanks!

probably one of your best bets is using something like a Graphic EQ filter and attempt to target the frequency of the hum and turn down that frequency.

yup. soundtrack pro has a decent eq OP, check that out if you use the FCP Suite
