Halo vs alpha 1

Hey guys, sick of my el reys, thinking bout picking up either the armada halo or alpha 1, not to sure which one i'd like more. I want something nice and playful so I was thinking halos but I also want something that'll still be stable on the jumps, would the alpha be a better choice? and i'm goin 2013 models, don't need something as wide as this years stuff

Any insight would be great

Halo is a little softer and has the s7(doesn't need as much tuning, more durable) base i think?The alphas are a stiffer and have the race base. Both are good for jumps but the halo is more of a jib ski compared to the alphas. If your doing 60 jumps/40 rails or more in the jumps go for the alpha.
 
Yea thats what im tryna think about. This season i started getting a little more techy/jibby and I kinda wanted a more playful ski. I mean are they pretty similar though?
 
yea i'm leaning towards the halo because i'm not sure if the alpha will just feel like an upgrade from the el reys i've been skiing as opposed to a different type of ski like what im looking for. wish I had gotten out and demoed em this season
 
Ridin on both of them over a 60ft jumps. the alpha is more stable on the landing but i never had any issues with the halos. Halo's win for me! they were super playful and fun yet could still handle the big stuff with ease! I would recommend the 176!

If you can, test out the 2014's because they are a much better all mountain banger without compromising on playfulness! They are my next ski!
