anyone else play halo and is a big fan because im beyond stoked about halo master chief collection all i have to do is just have to buy the xbox one now and in a week i will have it because i get my final allowance equaling up to 406$

this is kind new for me to post anything gaming related anywhere because gaming is kind of my secret (i know a lot about halo and many other games) but when you get a free live action series 4 games with same maps same campaign when they were shipped and halo 5 gaurdians beta access all for the price of one game thats insanely hard to let pass

In my opinion bungie blew the storyline in halo 4 by making the forerunners enemies. In halo 1 the forerunners were given a mystical status as the supreme beings that were capable of building such amazing things like a ringworld.

The portrayal of the forerunners in 4 as ugly beasts is likely the idea of someone with a very low iq. It completely betrays the most important story of all halos, the story of halo 1.

Halo 1 was the best, followed by h2 and h3, but 4 is not even in the ballpark. Its fucking terrible.

I agree, Halo 1 is the most in depth story wise (Halo 2 is very close though) but that's also due to the fact that there was no online play at the time. Halo 2 pretty much revolutionized Xbox live though with its online play that to this day has been one of the best we've ever seen. Throughout middle school a huge portion of the people I knew that said they were "going on Xbox live later" meant Halo 2 exclusively, mind you this was on the first Xbox so there weren't many games up to its caliber at the time (minus MechAssault 2 for me).
 
Yup^ thats what you get when you take something built by truly talented people and put it in the hands of fuckbrain yuppies with no talent. Fucking sad really...

To start this off bungie didnt make halo 4

Also the forerunners are not that against you its that the only two forerunner leaders remain (didact and the librarian)

The didact was evil causing the smaller military based forerunners to follow his orders and try to kill you
 
i love the halo series, and this really tempts me to get an xbone until i remember that it would be $500 for the console and game.

Its a large portion of the same people.

Don't think Bungie would have done much better, the campaigns in each game were gradually getting worse, although none were bad and 343 did by far the worst with Halo 4.

Halo 2 had the best multiplayer ever, but if they kept that the same people may have gotten bored and complained that they are just recycling the same thing over and over. The only thing I play from Halo 4 is SWAT which I havn't touched in months. They really screwed up the ranking system in 4.

Part of me wishes they would have just stopped at 3, but I will always be excited when another Halo game comes out.
 
people love to hate on halo 4 but i thought it was mostly great. the only big complaint i had was the random weapon spawns and kill streaks. besides that it was just good improvements imo (only talking multiplayer here, i dont know enough about the campaign stuff to comment)

and people that complain about the sprint function are dickwads!

i can't envision it right now.. i thought i remembered thinking my armor was pretty dope last time i played but i don't remember. my favorite armor was in halo 3, the ninja armor or whatever it was actually called
