just want to know everyones opinion on halo 3. i personally think that the game is terrible and is overrun by losers that do nothing but halo3 24/7. and also all of my friends that have bought halo3 think that it is terrible as well. and they were done playing it within 2 weeks. so was just wondering what people thought about the so called best game ever made!
 
All the maps get REALLY boring after you play them a couple hundred times but Forge is pretty sweet to just mess around with, but yah the campagein(sp) doesn't take that long.
 
i played halo 3 for a while, it was the first halo game i played and i really didn't like it at all. online was alright but i definitely didn't see how people are in love with it...

personally i'll take COD4, army of 2, assassins creed and a lot more over halo 3...
 
man i fuckin loved halo 2, i dont care if it wasted a year of my life. that game was so much god damn fun. i could play it all day, and i did.
 
you probably are just terrible or something. I have CODMW and H3 and H3 is definetly better and takes more skill. COD is just like point and shoot and sneak up on people and shoot them in the back whereas halo actually involves skill and teamwork and tactics.
 
this guy knows whats up. I still play halo 3, but sometimes it just pisses me off. Halo 1 was by far the best. Bungies next game should be a multiplayer only game, halo 1 style, kinda like unreal. That would be sweet. I hate how the games got progressively worse, with the focus on graphics and appealing to the masses, rather than a good competitive game.
 
the truth. My roommate plays halo and call of duty all the time. Listening to halo isnt so bad, but having to hear " we have inbounds" and all that other call of duty shit is so annoying. I own the tv, i think i will sell it just so i dont need to listen to that shit.

Anyone wanna buy a tv? $100 or best offer.
 
I used to be an HxC halo 3 player.... Then Call of Duty 4 came out, and infinity ward absolutely killed it. Nothing compares to COD4. New maps tomorrow. w00t.
 
i used to play halo 3 a ton. i loved it. but ever since getting into cod4 on live, i just cant look at it the same. I dont know what it is, but now its only fun when playing with a lot of friends. still a solid game tho
 
I love Halo 3. Not obsessed with it by any means but such a fun ass game to play. Especially with a buncha friends while schwilly. Best drunk game ever? Me thinks so.
 
Holy shit, and because theres so many nerdy people on it, they think you're hella funny. It's a good relaxing session if you've had a bad day.

And I'm going to have to say guitar hero is a little better drunk than halo. But it's only a marginal win.
 
i feel ya man, my roommate is insanely addicted (luckily living in an apartment we have separate rooms). his xbox died so he sent it in to be fixed, 2 days later he comes back with a brand new xbox from best buy because he couldnt stand not being able to play cod until microsoft sent his xbox back. so 29 days later he returns the new xbox to best buy so he could get his money back within the 30 day return period and proceeds to buy another xbox from target because microsoft still hasnt returned his original one. he has seriously played on average 10 hours a day since the game came out. not healthy. he did the same with halo 3 for a few weeks until cod4 came out.
 
im not a fan of video games in gerneral i'd rather be outside doing something. but i dont mind playing for a little while with a bunch of friends or something.
