Halo 3 will launch before or after the PS3! or even the same date

1 of 2 things will happen. either Bill Gates is wrong because deadlines dont mean anything and the PS3 will come out before Halo 3, or Halo 3 will be rushed.

I have a friend at Bungie who has kept me updated on Halo 2 and Bungie didnt really rush Halo 2 and I dont think that Halo 3 will be rushed either. from what he told me they are not near completing the game.

well yea Halo2 was not rushed, it kept on going futher and futher away from their deadline. 2003 to 2004!

they have been working on halo 3 sence before halo 2 was on the shelves. the ps3 is comeing out next spring and halo 3 will come out if not on the same day colse to it

p.s.: xbox 360 is coming in nov.

 
Well what i heard was that they made the graphics too good in halo 2 for the xbox to handle so they had to tone it down and basically start over. I think that they are going to implement those graphics into halo 3 for the xbox 360 since it's a much stronger system. That's what i've heard and i don't know how reliable that is thouhg. And then i missed the showing on MTV but one of my friends told me the graphics are unbleivable like you can see blades of grass and stuff. If this is the case then i bet what i heard is probably right.

It is true, bugie has made it official, predicted release same day as PS3, but PS3 will crush Halo, a game is a game, but this is another system in the series best selling systems of all time. Plus if you go to japan ( the largest video game market) they have never even hurd of halo. X-box flopped in japan.

Actually one game does blow away consoles. Look at how many people (myself included) bought an xbox becuase of halo and halo 2. The xbox is raping PS2 right now. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Actually no i hate microsoft, but besides counterstrike halo is the best game i have ever played. CS is just so unhealthily addicting that i refuse to play it now. Anyone here who is good at halo PM me with your gamertags and we can rape some in matchmaking on live.

which is why my buddys and i system link halo every weekend.

halo 2 kinda sucks, i'm hoping that halo 3 will be completely new........ not based off 2.

and from what i've been reading, xbox 360 will be backwards compatible with xbox games. damn well better be if i'm going to pay whatever they're going to ask for it. even so i'm not buying it when it comes out.

this could help, about old xbox games that might run of xbox360. I think it means that top=selling games like (halo2) will work on Xbox360 and the new xbox live. Correct me if I am wrong

ps3 will get blown away because of how early they are relaesing the xbox 360, coming out in november! the xbox 360 hs wireless s controllers and will be able to watch dvd's without the playback kit, surf the internet, play mp3's and mp4's. and the new xbox live system will help out too. you can have avatars on the new xbox live. they still don't know whether you will be able to play old xbox games on it yet. i'm just waiting for halo3, project gotham racing 3, and perfect dark zero, which is supposed to be the first agme out for the xbox 360.

Halo is the best If yuo are good at it. But i guess that's only if you like FPS's. And does anyone here have like a guess waht it'll cost? LIke $400.00 or what?

I like FPS games, but not on consoles.

It will prob. cost around 400$ in the very beginning. As x-box and ps2 did.

 
Nah man, it will be more expensive, seeing as the prices of video game systems have risin every year.

With inflation probably more like 500 to 600 bucks.
