Halo 3 Vs. Grand Theft Auto 4

^what if they got x-box live going for gta 4, and you could have gangs with your homies and fight other gangs and shit! and if you dont log on for a while then your dude gets wastedin a driveby on his homestead. that'd be tite.
 
they will both be on xbox 360.

for that reason i choose halo 3.

because it wont be on the shitty as all fuck ps3.

and the multiplayer will ruin life in the outside world.
 
gta 4 is supposed to have online play. Plus gta4 is like living in tha ghetto, execpt u don't get shot at, and u have food, and u don't have to worry about AIDS
 
i think that gta4 will be better. even though h2 is probably the most popular game ever for console gamers, its counterpart might be worse. its happened before, just look at unreal tournament 2003 and 2004. i thought 2003 is so much better and that 2004 just plain sucks.
 
naw halo 3 is gonna blow 2 out of the water. and gta 4 for that matter. i forget what magazine it was my brother had it a couple weeks ago it had a preview of it. halo 3 will amaze once again just as much 2 and 1 did.

massively multiplayer gta will destroy lives, WoW style, but more people will play cos gta doesnt make you feel like as much ofa loser
 
all the gta games have sucked. they do a bunch of things in the game but poorly. halo has story and amazing online, it's gonna be better
 
theyre 2 different games that are both most likely gunna be XBOX Live so im gunna say i save around $100 and get both of them simple solution
 
Halo 3 will rule all. The Orginal Halo has sold more copies then any of the GTA series. GTA is boring as hell in my mind. Played it, wasn't impressed......moved on. Its a game for people who don't know shit about games.
 
umm ur dumb? bc i love GTA3 and SA, vice city could have been better but 3 and SA were amazing games and plus theres an acura NSX in SA which you can actually drift with and is hell of a lot of fun
 
GTA 4? I think Vice City was like GTA 4, and San Andreas was like GTA 5, so this would be like GTA 6

dude i can do that in forza, and Grand Tursimo with ALOT better physics, and graphics...... that game is over played.....seriously. The only people i seen that are super into GTA are people who don't know shit about games at all.
 
guilty as charged, but gta is all about pure dumb fun, you get like auto aim and stuff and you can justdestroy random shit but thats what makes it fun. its like going to the moivies & seeing some light dumb movie instead of some heavy drama, but its still entertaining
 
gta 4 will have xbox live. even if it didn't, it would still kick halo 3's ass. halo 3 better be better than halo 2, man that game sucked.
 
Didn't Halo 2 break the record of sales for the opening day on most games sold. I think it also broke it for movies too. But anyway I think I'd take halo 3 over GTA4 just becuase I like halo a little more. I'll probably end up getting both though
 
ur obviously wrong since im video games and computers are gunna be my career and the fact that one of my classes is pretty much 2 hrs of designing and testing games and fixing computers everyday

If you were a real gamer, then you would know about how Kojima's metal gear series is one of the most epic series of all time, and the theory behind the game play has influenced many games ( i.e. splinter cell). The Square ( Enix) has the best RPGS in the world and that their Final Fantasy series has the best story lines.

If You were a real gamer, you would have said that Halo 3 is going to be an overall better game just by looking at what has past. Bungie listens to its gamers. If lots of people bitch about something in Halo 2, it will be fixed in halo 3 ( i.e. the return of the assult rifle). You know that halo has one of the most complex well scripted stories of any video game out there. ( halo books, comic books, cortana letters.....etc.) You would know that Halo has the best game play since goldeneye. The graphics are smooth, and make all the GTA games look like a watery turd. The Multiplayer is just awsome....everything you could ever want. It is soo popular in fact, that bungie made a multiplayer pack just for halo. When the next GTA comes out, it may sell well. But when Halo 3 comes out.........its going to be fucking nuts. Now go masterbate in a dark corner while using your tears as lubricant.
 
The halo script isn't exactly complicated. Its master chief vs. covenant. Master chief vs. flood. Master chief vs. flood. Master chief vs. flood. You turn around a corner and guess what!? There is more flood. Then you finally get to the end and you fight, wait for it... the flood. There are a few levels of covenant thrown in and a pretty lame love story between master chief and Cortana. The multiplayer is pretty dominant though.
 
i thought the same unitl i played it against people who were worse than me and i got better. once you get good its sick.
 
I don't know if anybody posted this, but GTA4 is for Xbox360 AND PS3, so Xbox gets both.

 
now that i've read all the posts, don't look at my other post lol. Who cares about Halo 3 Vs. GTA4? they are both going to be insane so I might as well get them both and have double fun. And to the idiot who said GTA wasn't good, on G4TV's X-play, Gta san andreas was picked as the #1 video game (which means alot because they are video game gurus)
 
GTA4 i cant fuckin wait for that shit and gran turismo for ps3....halo will be aight..if ur into that shit personnally i like call of duty and the rainbow six games better for multiplayer
 
exactly, even though with GTA4 on live it will become a more multiplayer friendly game. GTA 4 comes out on October 17th, 2007 and I think Halo 3 is a May release, but im not 100% on that.
 
hahaha, nah man its waaaay more intricate than that, but either way, they are both sick games, no one should argue which is better because they both have great aspects. but if i were to chose, halo 3 by FAR, i can only play gta for a few days and then i get bored of it, halo 2, well...i've been playing almost every day for god knows how long
