I just beat Halo 3 and the ending completely baffled me..

The arbiter was alive but it did not show Master Chief again.. did he die or what the hell happened?

I need closure. I am so fucking confused right now.

it does? fuck. i hit A on accident when the credits came up and it brought me back to the title screen.

a friend of mine played that game 5 hours straight and beat it...... he said he was pissed about the ending so it must not be good

SPOILERS AHEAD

The hangar of the ship (part MC was in) broke off when the ship jumped, and he and Cortana were left in the middle of nowhere when the portal collapsed (unable to reform). They talk for a little bit, Cortana says she'll send out a beacon but it will be years at the least... and MC enters a cryo tube and tells her to wake him up when she needs him.

Sounds like a good leadoff to Halo 4.

If there is not a Halo 4 I will personally bomb the building that Bungie works at.

about 2.5 - 3 hours a day over the course of 3 days.

The campaign was pretty long, and extremely fu nand exctiting.. I just wish it was longer.

I was also surprised that there was NO boss battles. The Arbiter killed the Prophet of Truth, and I was like nooo... I wanted to kill him myself!

I played the campaign on Heroic by the way. i plan on starting a new campaign on Legendary (hardest difficulty)

it should be intense!

I beat the campaign on Legendary yesterday afternoon with a friend, and we didn't watch past the credits either...that upsets me. Anyone else think the campaign was a bit too short?? Although I liked all the throwbacks to Halo 1.

heroic.

i plan on starting a campaign on legendary.

but, i just got xbox live, and the halo 3 online multiplayer KICKS ASS.

It took an average of an hour per level, a little more on some and a little less on others. The last level, was fucking great. I was a huge fan of The Maw (last level in Halo 1, with the long warthog drive) and this one blew that away.

that was the most intense warthog drive ive ever seen. the sounds and explosions and falling platforms and thousands of flood! oh man! absolutely incredible. find me on live GT: Sprongley
