Halloween at the River

Assuming Sunday River continues to blow snow throughout the month they will hopefully open on halloween again this year. So what I'd like to know is if anyone plans on going and if anyone has an idea if they might have a feature or two setup. I know last year they had a couple rails and a box
 
If they are open, i'll be there. I would imagine they would have a few features up to. A couple boxes and a down rail is what they had at halloween last year i believe.
 
They aren't going to be able to be the first resort open as Killy has been getting some snow showers and has been blowing snow. But looks like SR should have the chance to start blowing some snow starting on Thursday night so they may be able to even open on sunday
 
To be honest i dont really give a damn if they open first, i just want them to open! I would imagine they would be able to get it done by halloween though, as long as the weather stays good.
 
They only fired up the guns for a few hours those 2 days they haven't blown since. I'm hoping they open soon because I'm pissing money away to go to where ever opens first. SR would be wicked convenient though because it's on my pass
 
They won't blow snow until they know they can blow it for a couple nights in a row to get a good base started and it can't get too warm during the day either. Thursday night onwards looks prime so I wouldn't expect them to start laying down anything until then
 
I will b there when they open. But keep this on the dl, but i hear they will have the dumont setup up for opening day, dont tell anybody though.
 
If Sunday River opens on Halloween I'll blow a load. I want it to happen so badly. However I will be dissapointed but not terribly if they don't open until later. This is because theres also a skate competition that day that I want to photograph.

Sunday River, please open on Halloween so us NSers can all have a great time halloween jibbin.
 
well i just checked the SR website and it doesnt look like they plan on opening halloween. theyve got a bunch of stuff planned that does not involve snow =[ but maybe....hopefully.
 
Never never say when they plan on opening because they can't really guarantee it will happen. But having all those other events will attract people up there anyways. And also there facebook the other day said something like just waiting for colder temperatures, maybe this weekend the guns will go on
 
fuck yea! first open in the east! thats sick. hope they can stay open til halloween. that would be awesome
 
I CAN'T GO TOMORROW BECAUSE I HAVE THE ACT'S FUCK ME STANDARDIZED TESTS ARE FOR BITCHES. They better be open on Sunday.
