It seems to me that Dumont is starting to take Halls place in the skiing world. Simon is starting to have the better segments in ski movies and hes doing a lot better in comps. Does it seem like that to anyone else?

when simon wins 4 x-games slopestyle golds in a row, I'll say he's taken Tanners place.

What evidence do you have to support that simon dumont is taking Tanners place? what competions is he doing better in?

Just because all the kids talk more shit on simon dumont latly, rather than Tanner Hall. Does not mean hes taking his place. And better segments is all relative on what you like. I think Tanner hall has the best segment of the year, so under my opinions and your rules Tanner Hall would still be the 'frontman' of skiing.

i dont think tanner should be considered the 'frontman' for skiing...not by a long shot....even with all those X-Games medals hanging from his neck with his other so called 'bling', he still doesnt have the all around skills that others like Sage or Pep have, so until he wins three IFSA events to go with his X-Games medals, he should only be the frontman for the X-Games, or slopestyle/park skiing or whatever...but not skiing itself.

i still like both of em. but it seems like dumont is going to take the sport further than tanner at this point. tanner started it and i think eventually he'll pass the torch to dumont, just not for a while.

^I really don't think growing offers him any advantage. If anything, it would take time for him to get his coordination back. My brother grew 6 inches in like 8 months (he's 6'4' now) and he was the clumsiest dipshit on the planet till he grew into his frame.

why, give me a reason why you care! Are you personal friends with either of them? Everyone should worry about themselves and not try to say hall or dumont suck to make themselves feel better. Both of them contribute to the ski industry so who the hell cares who is better!!

They are both two of the top dawgs obviously. I would give Tanner Hall the edge in popularity, but Simon isnt far behind at all. They are the Bird and Magic of the NBA

 
when i see Dumont ski, it feels like watching tanner ski but in a smaller version and with less technicalities...

Both are sick skiers but Tanner just made the sport as it is now... wait, was it moseley???
