Hey guys filmed this in and around Halifax, NS.

Critiques and comments welcome. Only question I have is why the SD version looks so shity? Maybe I'm imagining it but it seems worse than normal to me.

anyone have any thoughts on colours? editing? Things you liked or things that could be improved?
 
i enjoyed it too.. as far as color, the beginning seemed a little more saturated than than some of the riding scenes that seemed a little washed out from the sunlight off the water..maybe just a couple minor tweaks to that but nothing too extravagant. pretty good job.

I recently discovered that this was used in Refresh, no hate, I had no clue either. I was in the process of making an edit with it!
 
Damn, I guess I just really recognize this song because I have it on my ski playlist...

What lens(es) were you shooting with? Long end seemed really soft and pretty overexposed at times, colors were pretty bland i feel like your black level could have been lower.

70-200 f4 non IS

I noticed it seems soft too, I have no idea why tho. With higher apertures would it have gotten soft? I shoot with a really high aperture so I can keep everything in focus during the pan but I don't think that should effect the sharpness..
 
Over like 11 it starts to lower your IQ. Also, shooting @200 will lower your IQ too. The shot is so long that even f/4 everything you want in focus will be in focus because its so far away. Shoot around 180-190 (or get a 2x extender and shoot 300-350) and like f5.6 or f8.
