Halfpipe will NOT make the olympics

I dont want halfpipe skiing in the olympics. If you watched the snowboarding one if seemed to me like the judging sucked and they were selling out the sport. If it gets into the olympics like snowboarding, there will be way more skiing posers than there are now

there are tons of skiers that could easily contendlike the ones mentioned. but i heard that snowboarding is trying to get slopestyle in, so why dont we try too cause alot of the international skiers seem to be better in the park

and fuck FIS no one is bennifitting from you bastards even the snowboarders hate you.

and why not try to get skateboarding into the olympics? now that is a worldwide competitor circuit legit sport right there.
 
haha norway??? finland??? plus about 20 other countries with serious talent in the pipe.
 
Slopestyle would be sooooo much cooler than pipe. And, America doesn't have ALL of the best skiers in the world.

4:25:17 I really want halfpipe to make the olympics. But, sadly, it never will, no matter how hard we try to change it. Here's why:

If you think about it, America is so far ahead of every other country skill wise. America would have a good chance to sweep the medals.

To be an olympic event, there has to be more talent around the world. There must be someone else besides an american that has chance to win the gold.

If the rest of the world catches up with us in the halfpipe, we might see halfpipe be in the olympics. If not, sadly, our biggest event will always be the X-games.

^^ Post counts really don't matter, if you look at all of my mine they are at least something that contributed to the thread and started a conversation.

Also, an american has won the past three years. Only 1 non-american has ever won in the history of the x-games- and that was the first year it was in existance.
 
no worries. in a few years ill be sweeping the medals for canada in pipe. it will definitly become an olympic sport for 2010. and it's to bad for my competitors. i've already shottied gold. they're gonna have to settle for loser.
 
in the UK the TV comentators(sp) were taking the piss out of how baggy there clothes were and how can they ride with music in there ears. it will just be the same if skiing gets in/

we need to educate the general public before if gets into the olympics.

skier x would be a better thing to get in.

well, jon olsson won in pipe's inaugural year, and candide won the next year. only one american podiumed during this time. wrong again , bro.

fuck the olympics, then all the tourist kids would rent skis instead of snowboards and then all the fucking retarded people who do dumb shit at the mountain would be skiers.
