of anything make the minimum 16ft wide or long. I had a min that was 8 ft wide. Way to small can grind anywhere. i made mine mini into a 16ft QP

go with 5 or 6 ft walls. that way you can improve, and dont get stuck with a shitty little ramp in the future. with a 6 ft going completely to vert is bearable, and that will help a lot with learning to air out and back in

i got some ILL ramp plans for a 6ft one. blueprints. its like a 3'X2' and gives all the details. i saved up for it, but then went to ski camp instead. but... i got mine at i think www.rampplans.com it was 15$ but deff. worth it if your gonna spend 1000$ on a mini ramp. if your gona do it. do it right

you don't need plans unless you're retarded. 4 peices of thicker ply. cut out a template side. cut the other 3 sides the exact same. include the deck on the sides. 2x6's and make a frame for the deck. run 2x4's across horizontal to the sides. screw on some thinner ply or partiboard HORIZONTAL. this may take a few friends to bend. counter sink some coping into the top 2X4. screw on some masonite veritcal. put some ply on the deck. i built mine in about 2 days with 2 other guys.

i built one a few years ago that is really really nice, there are pick that have it in them in stept's media, if you want to know how just im me some time alexmart13

kevens right. i built a 7 footer at my house when i was 14 and it was pretty easy... very time consuming but not actually that difficuly construction. go to your local skate park and just look at what they did... build a frame, to get the curves right use a string and a pencil to make sure they're uniform and shit. and dont listen to whatever fucker told you to put vert in a 6 foot ramp... whether you're skateboarding or rolling you'll regret it... i can air out a solid 6 feet out of mine on skates and its definitly not vertical. i found coping to be tha hardest part... mine kind of sucks. also, drop the cash to get good wood. skatelite, or something similar. the other shit will wear out, so unless you just want a temp halfpipe, you're going to need to drop some cash... i tried to just use plywood with some varnish shit on mine... worked excelllent for 2 or 3 summers, but last summer i got like 14 1/2 inch long splinters in one hand and decided it was no longer safe... heh. if you're going to go the cheap route make sure you tarp the ramp between use... keep it dry as fuck and you should be aiiiight. i think im going to burn mine this summer if anyone wants to witness a sad/spectacular bonfire

oh it cost me about 2000 to build, without skatelite. use cinder blocks to make it level... mine sits on about 40.

Sorry that used to be a site just earch on google for it there's a site that has really good ones search for free half pipe plans

the coping isn't hard to do if you drill counter sink holes into it (bottom hole smaller then the top hole so the screw pulls the coping onto the 2x4, while leaving the screw head unexposed)
