the level of competition is high but not deep at all, looks pretty weak, the level of halfpipe skiing is really unimpresive.

 
i'll agree, but they really should be doing more big hits switch. Some of the scores are very very low, lots of falling, top 4 good, the rest haven't impressed

its basically been luck if you have or havent caught an edge. even the guys in top 4 most have fallen on at least one of their runs, the pipe is so shitty.

caught an edge, what is this upstate new york highschool ski racing, thats a weak excuse, these are suppossedly professionals, just too young to perform

 
i dont think they should have held prelims only a few hours before the finals. they didnt have a chance to recut it and it looked pretty rutted out. these guys know how to ski when when they catch an edge just riding across the flats going slow (olenick) then it seems theres a problem.
