Generally i think the pound has about twice the power of the dollar, so pretty much multiply the price times two, or go on xe.com.

 
haha you are better off on doubling the price than just adding the 50$ haha that was great..well with this seeing as t-halls are 300GBP you could double it and then subtract 50 and then you are close haha

 
Possibly the exchange rates are making our sale sound not as good to those of you in the US.

But we still have to pay a certain amount for equipment from our suppliers, and from that, we get a retail price.

Any retailer anywhere, that is offering 50% off of retail is giving people one hell of a good price.

I think its a little harsh to call it a rip!

We're a core newschool ski shop, offering half price twins to skiers. What have we done wrong there?

We can't give prices any lower than this, or we'll run ourselves into the ground. Sure, maybe the exchange rate makes our prices less attractive to the US market, but obviously the huge majority of our clients are in the UK and Europe.

You guys have Jibij, D structure etc. We are trying to create something similar over here. There are a load of newschool skiers in the UK and Europe who could pick up some really decent skis, at a good price.

So if you're in the US and the prices might seem too high for you, we apologise, please take your business to similar core shops over there. But don't bitch about us, as we are trying our asses off to help skiing in the UK move in a direction all of us believe in.

Yeah... obviously they're not good deals for people over here, but like I say, skis in Europe seem to cost a lot more (same with Aussieland). So it doesn't make much sense to bitch about pricing when they're not really priced for your market. For the brits and frenchies, these deals aren't half bad.
