HAHAHA MSP Steals from tutorials for editing

how exactly does 20 seconds of graphics made in after effects in any way tarnish the hundreds of hours of hard work and filming these guys did?
 
cause, ask anyone, theres so much more in a movie than just shots. thats only about half the battle. thats soooo fuckin lame of them.
 
if you're all so anti MSP, I'm amazed no one has pointed out yet that Push is also the name of a surfing film from 2004 with Kelly Slater in it
 
well in the sense of titles thats basically what they did.... no other way around it.... not unique at all, kinda expect from MSP. MSP has dope shots (even though there is a surplus of park)...
 
Yes...but so far MSP hasn't needed to change their angles around and stuff. They're probably one of the more progressive companies because not many other company can match up. It's also not that big of a business yet either.
 
they put out the same movie ever year with cookie sutter editing. Its alway the same. not many companies can catch up? yeah sure. they cant catch up to their budget and spend thousands of dollars to rent a heli to shoot park shoots and have a ton of heli trips.

msp, besides warren miller is basically the biggest film company in the industry.

With that said, I will confess to also using a tutorial from Creative Cow this year for the title in my trailer as well...But FUCK, I'm an amateur who does this for fun and never made more then $5 on a movie, their people with a million dollar budget... Can't they hire someone with talent? I mean, I can fucking take a crative cow tutorial and sue it in my trailer, can I work for MSP? Hell, I can even change the speed of all the shots to 50% or lower, I bet I could edit for them too!
 
msp was never good, did anyone see high society? i would say the funny parts were the only parts worth watcing

because since MSP is one of the bigger companies with one of the biggest budgets, i and everyone else should expect some originality
 
so what the opening still looks cool who cares if its unoriginal if it hasnt been used in other ski movies...

yo theres a billion things on creative cow, who gives a fuck.... you already complained that it looked like that christmas movie intro, holy fuck get over it people.
 
i really dont get whats funny about it, so if you use an effect that has already been created by man thats ridiculous? Maybe think things through before you all bash.
 
jeeze after watching them both side by side that is pretty bad. They just added some snow and changed the font. I think they could be a bit more creative.
