if he ends up not liking it he will be able to sell it on here for probably pretty close to what he got it for. But not the same as outerwear, but once I got my first pair of twins i felt so much more comfortable and welcome in the park and i progressed a lot very quickly. I think outerwear will have the same affect as skis and who knows maybe he will be better than you at the end of the season like stated above.

i've been skiing since i was 2 years old with a fucking wedge holding my ski tips together so i stayed in a pizza slice. now at 16 i'm one of if not the youngest people to ski one of the best lines in south america. i've been touring since i was 7 years old and i can say that i can ski all conditions and reasonable lines with confidence, yet i fail miserably in the park...does that mean i suck at skiing?

one of the reasons i never go in the park is because i'm so bad at it and people like you who've mastered the steezy 180 stand around on the side of jumps and trash people out there trying their best. i'm here on expensive fat twins feeling like a jong fucker because i can't throw down in an icy park

i see gapers in size small burton gear looking like such idiots out in the park falling everywhere yet having the time of their lives; skiing is so fun for them and they're out there just loving it while other people are around concerned if their xl saga makes their ass look skinny

it's one thing to take amusement out of their failure but acknowledge the fact that this is making them super happy, yet another thing to deliberately fuck with them

the only gapers i fuck with are the ones who are assholes and take themselves seriously
 
I think people got the impression that i put him down, but i did not and i really did not mean to come around that way so i apologize. He was stoked and i didnt want to say no dont get it but i also guess was being a little dumb. Sometimes i get angry when people brag about what they havent done though. And i havent put him down or made any comment that it was dumb i just supported him, and i know some of you will fire back and say it sounds like i did but oh well think what you want, sorry for all of you that think im a complete asshole that doesnt like skiing, but you can ask any of my friends that i absolutely LOVE skiing. I am an instructor and i teach kids so they can grow to love skiing as much as i do, i guess i just felt a little competititve to this kid or jealous that he was gonna get one. Im the idiot and sorry

Wow, I'm surprised that a lot of people in this thread have a look good, feel good, do good mentality towards skiing. For some reason I didn't think a lot of people were like that. i must admit though, that's how I am.

false.Maybe FREESTYLE skied for less than 2 years, but not skied in general.I never really hit park until last year but I've been skiing about 10 years

I bet if you saw the kid on the hill in his xl magic suit and he could barely throw a 3 you'd be giving him shit left and right.

just because he cant 360 doesnt mean hes new to skiing. he could have been skiing for years before he ventured into the park. there are guys that do sick stuff on jibs and rails, but cant jump worth shit.
 
I would be giving you karma for this but I already got you at 10/10. Couldn't have said it better myself, I don't give a fuck what you're wearing, as long as you're having fun and not getting in everybody's way (park etiquette) then keep on doing your thing.
 
Yup. The day i bought "cool" outwear was the day i learned legit 360s, as well as 540s. Prior to that I couldn't do them all season. It just gave my confidence a boost, and I just went for it. Not to mention i hit the biggest jump of my life at that point as well. All in 1 day.

Thats not a dick move at all, you convinced him to buy probably the sickest suit he could have possibly bought this year. I mean, I guess people might make fun of him (probably not though because obviously they will see the suit and recognize that he is an extreme thug), but then he could just laugh at them because...
a) they are retards for thinking you have to be good to buy a cool looking suitb) he has a fucking magic suit and they don't
 
Nooo. Its assholes like you that no steeze was talking about. If he was wearing an xl magic suit, talking shit and being a cocky asshole it may be ok to give him shit. But if you just see him out there in a magic suit having fun and trying to improve there is no way in hell I would give him shit. It doesnt make me feel good, or manly or whatever to make fun of people.
Skiing is not about that. You don't give people shit left and right because of the way their dressed.
Everyone as a beginner once. Help him out, give him some tips if he's just learning. I get stoked when everyone is all supportive of each other. Don't be shit talkers.

Im not the best skier, got several jiberish hoods, saga jacket and magic pants. Well lets do it like this, ( this is me ) If you had 1000 dollars. What would you spend them on? Hmmm, " have you seen the magic suit, its dope " Well you have the cash and you fucking love it. I would buy it, which I did.

And YES I DO think that cooler clothes CAN make you ski better cause you know that you look clean and your confidence. I MEAN, wtf if youre skiing some one suit, XS with reflexes all over it. ALSO like 100 neon colours, do you think you wouldnt be laughed at?
 
Just because someone can't do a 360 doesn't mean they've only been skiing for two years. Maybe they've just never skied park. I've been on the slopes for 13 years, and I haven't properly landed a 3 yet, I've been too busy having a ton of fun riding the bigger, steeper lines than your park jumps.

Open your eyes a little, man. I think you're confusing "skiers" with "park rats".

I've been skiing since I've been 2 years old, I can't do a 360 off of anything bigger than a little bump on the side of a ski run. I also have saga. Should I return it cuz I'm not good enough?

when i first read your original post i felt bad for the kid that you were talking about, but at least he will look sick this winter. you on the other hand look like a bitch. you thought that your orignial post would be hilarious yet no one else found the humor in it. now only 4 hours later you apologize saying that you were in the wrong? you would not be apologizing if everyone thought you were funny and then shared there "funny gaper stories" you know it's kids like you that make this website so annoying sometimes.

skiing shouldnt be about how "cool" you look, it should be about how much fun you have. if you dont do it for fun and do it to look cool, or cant have fun if you dont look cool, then fuck off. i hate people like you.
 
You can't put a value on good skiing, or set an arbitrary point. This is like saying that Jamie Pierre is the best skier in the world because he has dropped the biggest cliff (intentionally).

I call it logical fallacy. I know a lot of people have called you out for this, but for godsakes skiing exists that does not involve spinning!
