alright so i skied drunk for the first time. it was so much fun and i kicked ass lol. its a whole different thing that is awesome.
 
i could see some sort of orginization forming to promote "safe sober skiing"

Yeah drinking and skiing is fun as long as you know your limits. It can be scary if you know you have had too much.
 
how does he sound like bode? Bode admitted to drinking a couple drinks and skiing, never skiing drunk. Who doesn't have a drink while skiing at the lodge at lunch? honestly, if they didn't want poepel to be able to have a drink or two, then they wouldn't offer alcohol at ski resorts. Skiing drunk, and drinking while skiing are 2 different things. And people also say that bode was "caught" skiing drunk at a race last year, when in actuallity if you read the article, on what really happened, was he drank a ton the night before out partying with the team, and he was super hung over for the race. Nowhere does it say that he was drunk.

i have skied drunk after waking up early and still being drunk from the night before... i think its stupid to be wasted.. but if your feeling a little buzz than most people who are good at skiing should still be able to control themselves.
 
Ive done it with some friends a couple times. It's acctually a good time if your not to out of control. Usually it consists of funny groomer runs or death in the mini park. Good times.
 
welll, alchohal is a depressant and weed is i think a stimulant but im probably wrong (check erowid.org), and they effect you very differently. for some people (many racers) a few shots losens them up and they do better, and for many freestylaz, weed does the same thing and they ski better because they are more confident and have a different sense of creativity but aren't dangerous while they are flying down the hill. although i have seen my stoned friends eat absolute shit when they were tired.
 
i want to try it sometime just to get it out of my system. but im out for the season:( oh well, maybe ill get drunk one night and it will jus seem like a really good idea to go night skiing

But anyway, shut the hell up everybody. So what if he drank before he went skiing. All i hear about anymore on this website is how much pot everyone smokes while they're skiing, and this kid drinks once and everybody tears him a new one? Pretty fucking ignorant if u ask me.
 
If you weren't meant to ski drunk and/or high why would they serve booze at the top of the mountain, make a gondola, chair lifts with wind protectors, tree shacks, one hitters, the burton 420 kit, "the green pass", Line Chronics, budwieser rail jam, 32 oz. PBR cans.

skiing drunk is the worst, one time before my ski club i got a little drunk and went skiing and was trying to do my regular stuff on the rails but i would just keep falling it was shit

well yeah but on those days you just want to mess around it might be fun its not like ive tried it but it might mix things up a bit
 
i love getting fucked up, but i dont think i'll ever try skiing at the same time. for being high and drunk as being the same... they aren't. get your shit straight before you talk. alcohol slows you, and weed doesn't.
