Watching CNN, research has shown that Obama is a descendent of slaveowners, as is McCain and Edwards. It's really not that funny for the McCain and Edwards but imagine having the first black president's lineage be slaveowners. Amazing.
 
Yeah we're all abstards if you trace it back far enough. What a surprise, they dig up dirt on the only black man to have a chance at president.
 
this is off topic, but did anyone see the lady on colbert report who said oboma isn't black cause he's not the descendent of slaves? Instead he is an african african american(yes two africans). I guess now she doesnt sound so crazy seeing as he is the descendent of slave owners.
 
Alot of people are saying that he isn't black ENOUGH. I'm pretty sure that that's what this lady said too. In a sense of relating to African-American's in the US, he may very well be not black enough to sympathize and connect to them, as he was raised globally, born in Hawaii, went to elite schools, etc etc.
 
Well people may think that, but this lady said that he did not fit the definition of "black", which she claimed is african americans of west african descendence whose ancestors were brought over by slave traders. Since Obama's father is from Ethiopia and does not fit this description he therefor isn't "black" according to this woman. I'm not saying she's right, I thought she was out of her mind, but thats what I was referring to.
 
right, but the hilarity is that there are still tons of blacks who will vote for obama because his skin is dark regardless of the fact that he cannot say he shared in the experiences of most typical african americans, especially in urban areas.
 
Well they aren't going to pick a thug off of the streets with no political knowledge or formal education to run for president.

Hey, I'm not the guy on the news every night that's telling the world he isn't going to win because he isn't black enough, I'm just stating what has been said.
 
i don't think he's gonna have a big chance at winning, i maybe wrong but from the impression i get among people, they just don't like him

ya, it wasnt racist, but shouldnt have been brought up. It has nothing to do with him.
 
Take note that everything "bad" people have said about him is something he has absolutely no control over. Can he pick his ancestors? Did he choose to be "not black enough?" Is any of this relevant at all? Vote according to what you think is best for the country, not some trivial fact about a candidate's past or geneology. It's really sad what American politics have come to.
 
its not that suprising, a slave owner had sex with one of his slaves, it happened all the time. Thomas jefferson did it a lot, maybe jefferson is obama'a great great great great grandfather or something
 
If you have ever read any of Obama's books there is no way that you cant put 100 percent of your support behind this guy. He is an impressive guy and would lead this country out of the hell hole that bush created.
 
I have read his books. I'm sorry I made this thread; I thought that something funny I saw on the news would have been chuckled at on here, but apparently that's not the case.
