so last night at work, everything is going smoothly. i work at a movie store where i am alone to close. like i said, everything was going smoothly, i was to be closed on time. a lady who said she was a past worker there was walking around, looking at movies, joking around with me. she seemed nice.

anyway, i go on with my cleaning, get it done, i look around the store and she is gone. i think nothing of it, and assume that she just left the store. i close the store, go down into the basement and count my till. i then walk upstairs, set the alarm, lock the doors and leave.

apperently she went down into the basement and hid untill everyone had left. she came upstairs, stole some money and tried to leave. she ended up setting off the alarms and a witness saw her and took down her plates. she was arrested and the money was returned.

here is what i dont like about the story. i was alone, in a locked store, in the creepy ass basement. there was apperently someone hiding right next to me. just me, her, and a pile of cash. had she been a little more forward, she could have easily stabbed me or whatever and taken all the money.

naw, i like working alone. all i do is listen to an ipod and text. that really was a one time thing.

and i ment to say the shift was 2 nights ago, sorry. i worked again last night, can you imagine how creepy it was to have to go back into that basement to count my till? i was sketchin at every little sound.

Ya totally, I mean...why don't you just sue the store for not having a panic room installed...

Timmi im not raggin on you, I think you're a cool kid and I'm glad your all right, i just cant stand the "im a victim so pay me" shit that dominates our culture.

uhh they did, moron.

they did there job. when the alarm went off they came, and arrested the girl. if she didnt get cought they probably would have blamed me for the 200 dollars missing.

sorry for the double post. im not blaming the store at all. i was actually more concerned they would fire me. how was it the stores fault?

you gotta keep your eyes on those crazy ass ladies.

i bet that shit never happens again. just the thought she was there is creepy

yea.. i used to work in a crack head area and have to close alone.. it sucks bummers.. there were even bullet holes in the window of the store. but that shit is cray.. ive had cray people yelling at me and what not.. but never something that hardcore.

holy shit. that sounds sketch. i guess there is really nothing to be afraid of. i mean there was no way that i couldnt have taken out this woman unless she had a weapon. its just kind of the thought that i wasnt alone...

She definitally saw you. Thats so creepy that some stalker lady was chillin' right behind you, while you count your cash.

well why the fuck didnt you do your OWN job and make sure the place is clear before you lock it??? Now you just rely on cops to do your job for you and cause your store to get into the newspaper because you didnt do your job? Wow, if I was your boss, you would probably get fired.

That is creepy..

you think that's bad, try working in a kitchen shutting down when it's only me and the ocassional drunk and half passed out person walking in from the bar, and the kictehn is full of knoves and shit. We have this one maintinence guy who always walks aroudn shirtless and gives me these looks like im fuckin crazy, and i hate it when i turn off the lights and he comes up from the basement, freaks me the hell out.

seriously dude, you are a fucking faggot. you never do anything but argue whatever lame ass fucking worthless point you can in every fucking thread.

hahaha. hahaha.

dude i cant even take you seriously. i am one person taking care of a large store. she was a past employee who knew where to hide and knew what to do. i didnt rely on cops. i didnt know the bitch was there!
