So... i saw a thread kinda about this... and i searchbared but they were all old... i just want to hear some new ones haha.... people think that utah is dominated by them but really its not... im not a MO but all my really good friends are and are killer skiers and ya some of the things they do is stupid but most of it they are doing a good thing? i guess.. . haha i just want to hear some opinions.

The Mormons are awesome, when they fulfill the prophesy and take control of America through the presidency we can all have multiple wives.

(We will have to import hot asian women and save them from the scourge of the asian penis.)
 
hell yes they are nice! it seems like most of the NS community thinks they suck from the other threads on them... haha just cuz their beliefs arent the same as yours you shouldnt talk shit on them... they dont talk shit on you.
 
no problems with the mormons, they are good people... some of the shit they believe is a little weird but i am sure some of the shit i believe is weird too
 
They Have a great Business model and are really wise with their investments..!? I know lots of cool Mormon kids. I have no problem with them but, I Disagree alot with the churches policies, most Utah Kids are immersed in the Church culture, so they don't know anything else. In my experience Most are cool, genuinely nice people but not very worldly/open minded to other views/opinions.
 
yes mormons are generally nice but they are also super brain washed. its like when you hear your friend raving about how he's the biggest loser ever because he's not married by the age of 25, your like what dude? your cool no worries but his ward/family/friends are pushing him to tie the knot with any chick he can. weird eh?

Nope, YOU are WRONG. I said HE couldn't. Caffiene is a "drug" and some Mormans drink it and some don't. It is a PERSONAL choice.

and by "prophet" telling the mormons what to do, you mean the U.S. government had enough with polygamy and made them get their shit together.
 
Yea!....I really miss Utah right now, I don't live there anymore. I used to wake up and look out my window with a view of Rice Eccles Stadium and the Wasatch.
 
the thing i like about em is the dont hate on others at all! its their lives and their beliefs i say let them live it.... sure some of the things they are supposed to live by are wack but not all of them live by the guidelines that the prophet gives them. i have never heard an LDS kid say anything bad about a christan or any other faith... but they all should lighten up on them shit people!

my good friend is mormon. and hes awesome. and plus my parents trust him cuz hes a mormon, so if they ever dont want me to go somewhere, i just tell them he's coming, and they're like oh okay.
 
all their temples have basketball courts. which is pretty sick. but we always rip on my sisters bf for being mormon.
 
i have some friends that grew up mormon and now are just crazy sons of bitches. i love the mormons though because a ton of them come up from salt lake to go to the saint anthony sand dunes in idaho. apparently they have a belief that they will take any possesions they have into the after life so they all have sick diesel trucks, sand rails, dirt bikes, quads, etc. they come to the dunes for the weekend and saturday is nuts with all these people out there, then com sunday they all are gone because of church, so sunday is tits for having the dunes to yourself. 
 
jea i hate how people hate on mormons, i used to, but i found out that they really are nice people sometimes strange but over all nice. now its the hipocrites i cant stand. the false ones they can be mean
 
fuck mormons they are so brainwashed. i hate hearing comments about how great their religion is and how my life sucks since im not mormon. mormons are actually really prejudice as well. so many of them hate on every other religion, thinking that mormons are on the top of the world. fuck them
 
that is such a misinformed post. i have NEVER met another mormon ( i am LDS) that hates on any other religion. We are taught to respect other people and their beliefs.
 
i was just saying the personal experiences ive had. so many times ive had conversations with mormons who are trying to figure out why im not mormon, basically trying to say that they are the shit. im sure there are some more laid back mormons who dont really care but mostly since ive lived in utah i havent liked what ive seen
 
I won't disagree most mormons are great people, but there are those few pushy ones. They drive you insane and you can't get away from them, but other then that very small percentage I don't have a problem with them at all...I visit my friends house all the time and his dad is a great guy, but really set in his ways. haha
 
Ya Mormons are good people. Most of them are really good at respecting other peoples beliefs. I used to ride with a few of the greatest people and they were Mormon. One of them left an Oakley sponsorship to go on his mission. People just stereotype Mormons way too much. There are a lot of Mormons in Utah and they are just really good and friendly people.
 
My friend and her whole family are mormon and they lived in washington, but last summer they moved to utah...... i think that ...... explains it.
 
so.. im not mormon but my girl friend is... its werid but its cool i have never realy been to church to its nice to have some religion i guess i listen to what she has to say and what she believes in its interesting to me... but i am just so fed up with the people that disrespect them. if you were to go to the south were christianity is the dominant religion there would be the same type that are super strict in what they believe and there are some that are more laid back. some of the coolest people i know and the people i respect the most are LDS i have nothing against them.

People shouldnt be scared to come to utah because of it... that is just bull shit if you really are you a pussy hahaha you just missin out on damn good skiing.
 
Lets all agree. The belief structure is completely and utterly retarded, and unfit as a foundation for religion. BUT! they are nice people. I generally see more jehova's witnesses at my door than Mormons, I also have mormon friends that you would never guess were mormon. You wouldn't get pissed at a Buddhist for not drinking, why get pissed at a mormon? Also, they are allowed to drink Coke, but not other forms of caffiene (?why? I don't know. something to do with them owning shares in the company.), and they don't approve of polygamy. That's the FLDS' job. Mormons are good people.

other than this sentence this was a good post but you had to add that in. so unnecessary.
