Soo ive heard alot of shit talking going on about this person on here, and saw the adds in freeskier for h30s movie, whats the deal did they rip a bunch of people of? AND What did this bacon guy do?also whats there actual movie like? worth checking out? or over rated and boring ..
 
Bacon straight up ripped me off for US$330.00.

I paid him for a full setup and when he didn't come through with the gear I had nothing for the whole season.

The guy is a complete straight up motherfucker and i hope karma comes and gives him what its worth.

Then he had the hide to acknowledge on NS that I hadn't got the goods and that he was going to refund me the money and send me a free Orage jacket for my troubles - what a fucking surprise. Nothing.

Seriously I rarely say that I HATE anyone, but this cunt is at the top of the list.

 
that sucks.,.. i love it when Americans use the c bomb ,, its such a discriptive words for people like this.. soo much hate.. preety well dereved though.. ripping people off and stealing are the lowest of the low things you can do...

As many of you well know, anthony bacon has committed many war crimes, not against humanity but against the world of skiing. The east coast plays a large role in not only the ski industry but also in the up-and-coming of many skiers, some are pros now, some are well on their way to becoming pro. kids from crews such as the bogart crew and the waterville team have been overly exploited by bacon. Bacon has intertwined himself within the heart and soul of skiing as a major repersentative for anon goggles and as a shitty ass film maker that recieves street creds that is not deserved. Because of his chubby grasp on the ski industry, he is able to get away with his evil doings. To start things off i will discuss why his excuss for cinematograhy should not be in existance today: His movies are taken of skiers that are unaware of his presence at are put in the movie without consent or credit. His movies are poorly shot because of incognito essense of his shots ruining the reps of many respectable skiers. The professionals in his movie are only related through his bullshit job with anon. In fact most of the riders like Bibby and Schiller werent even aware they were in the movie untill they saw the trailor online. He gives no credit to half of the athletes in his movie. There are shots in this years film, of people who have been given no recognition, and are just thrown into other peoples seggies.
He is a man that makes promises left and right that he has no intention whatsoever of carrying out. He hasnt ever given out any of the awards that he has in his "contests" and he is constantly screwing over all the athletes that he films with. Pretty much in conclusion of the H3NIGGER side of things he is the most unprofessional and dishonest person in the industry.

The breakfast ham runs his affairs with anon even worse than the way he runs his company H3O. He has a funny idea of sponsorship which apparently means that by giving a kid one pair of free goggles (no contract etc.) that he has full ownership of that skier, and that when they do well he can claim them as a rider.
CanadianBacon is constantly lying to all of his athletes! from what i hear, nobody except for Banks Gilberti ever recieves any of their promised and deserved product. Is this a coincidence that he is the owners son? In conclusion anthony buttface lies to everybody that he works with, produces poor films of athletes that are unaware they are even being filmed, and has gained himself the worst possible reputation ever in the ski community. Tony Bacony i hope you get what you deserve!
 
Enom made him 30 hats back in the day on a special order for up towards 300 dollars which had no said contract of when the hats should be done. 2 months later, he doesnt want em beacuse he already spent the money.

those hats are still in my closet
 
Absolute worst fuking movie i have ever seen period!! 2 Year project my ass, its all last years footage from Poorboyz, or Theory-3 . He even stole footage from ATA's O'daraoloc edit, Spelled names wrong, and most riders didn't even know they were fukin in it. Only new stuff i saw was Banks Gilberti but its all from 2 years ago at hood., so i dont consider it new jsut unseen. It was the Biggest shit storm i have ever seen, and a great waste of 25$$. Don't get me wrong the riders have some good tricks but it has all been seen or is old. It also has so many boring life style shots at least 50 % of teh movie is lifestyle shots standing in the trees. H30 sucks.

 
The one positive thing I can say about Anthony is he introduced me to Amanda Cola. Since our first meeting, she has become my partner in crime in all things news related. Take a look at any of my old Freeskier.com articles and my newer articles coming next month. Most of the quality shots were shot by her. She rocks!

Also I'm condemning everyone in this thread. Come on guys! This is Newschoolers.com. We can't write threads about dirty dog shit on the bottom of our shoes!

Let's all do ourselves a big favor and GO SKIING, have fun, and try to forget doo doo on the shoe for at least a few hours of snow filled fun. People like tony get what's coming to them without the help of an online forum.

and to think i had given this guy the benefit of the doubt based solely on the fact that you stood up for him so consistently for so long. yikes.
 
Yeah I dropped the ball on that one. Don't worry though karma punished me for defending him when I was under the impression that he was correct. I've gotten more than my fair share of the "check is in the mail, I'll drop it off on my way to the airport, the check must have gotten lost in the mail, etc." He borrowed my Dakine pack to go to go Hood like 2 summers ago, when I finally got it back it had a broken zipper, some of the compartment separators were missing, and the thing reeked of stale cigarettes.

In regards to his 2 year project "A New Dawn"...it's a fact that a number of the athletes wanted no part in being in the movie. Studio 411 needs to take his money back and give it to someone that deserves it. I wonder how many copies of that movie sold? I've never seen it but judging by the trailer I didn't miss shit.
 
I can back that up. It's become sort of a joke between certain athletes. During my trip to CO I recall one athlete when asked who he or she was filming with respond with "X company, Y company, and maybe H30 if they're hiding in the woods"
 
To have credit you must make money. I doubt the lazy bastard has a job. His mother was foolish enough to co-sign for him on car loans and credit cards.

Good luck getting your money Ian. Please keep us updated. It'd be pretty funny if he ended up in jail or running to Canada.

It'll be great if he uses his Studio 411 money to pay you back.

he's going to court huh? Well I hope he gets his act together. I never had the greatest dealings with him, but I want to take a minute to give a shout out to SoxRipper. She is a faithful friend, or was, even when her buddy was in the wrong. If I needed help for something I would want her to have my back, she's a pleasure to deal with. Amanda, I do hope you get paid back, not necessarily by Anthony, for the junk you put up with.

And to Ian, I heard your story before you typing this, but it makes me feel even worse for you. Best of luck, I hope justice prevails on your side.
 
That is really respectable for a 17 year old to get a contract like that drawn up before you do business.  But how much did it cost you to take him to court and get lawyer written letters sent to him regularly?  Sometimes the cost  outweighs the benefit when you take the high road (court), so  you have to sugar his gas tank or provide other monetary harm to make the universe equal out.  You should really get some sort of class action suit or send your court proceedings to Sudio 411, but I doubt they will distribute for him again after he sold 23 copies.

I don't know how many copies sold, but I've seen it. Did you know there is an entire section featuring none other than YOU?? And let me say, it does you no justice. A few minutes of Amanda looking exhausted, Amanda sleeping, Amanda getting filmed without knowing it, one ski clip, and then the whole thing backwards again. When I met you at IF3 I literally turned to Neil and said, "holy shit, poor Amanda, Bacon made her look awful. She's so much better looking in person."

You should sue.
 
can't believe spriggs and durtschi would even associate themselves with this assclown! What the hell are they thinking? Those guys are on NS.
 
i dunno if any of you are on skateperception, but there was a kid on there a year or two ago that just ripped everyone off (cant remember his name). camera gear, everything... sounds kinda like what happened here. he just kept ripping people off but trying to talk his way around it or ignoring the situation until everyone on skateperception realized what was going on. So one of the kids on skateperception went on a little road trip since the kid lived in the same state. Found him at a local skatepark, n beat the shyt out of him on video, posted it on skateperception and everyone finally got to clown on the kid for ripping them all off. all im saying is it might be in order...
 
There is nothing good that could come out of that trip. I heard about this a few months ago while I was in Colorado. I thought it was a joke. Actually, it is a joke. Hopefully he falls out of a heli or gets hit by a sled.
